And just so you know, it’s not as ‘in the wild’ as you think. It’s very beginner friendly! Although it is one of the hardest trails in terms of terrain and elevation changes. You will cross a road and have relatively close access to a town about every 10 miles or so. You will come across picnic tables at parking off the highway, you’ll see groups taking a hike together talking about trees and shit, you’ll come across Boy Scouts, you’ll see day hikers (locals spending the day on trail). You won’t ever be truely alone alone
