One of my uncles had a long jujube tree in the yard in south central Texas. They were fantastic fruit and we were allowed to eat as many as we wanted when we were kids. I never had any dehydrated ones, I think they kept those for themselves and didn't tell us kids about them.

I found your channel from John Coler's channel. I am so happy to see your videos. I live in Israel where it is dry but not as hot as Phoenix. Seeing what you plant helps me to decide on what to grow. I have no land yet as I live in an apartment but I grow lots of food in buckets on my 4 window sills. I hope to move to a place where I can have a small garden one day but it will certainly be in the dry areas. I can't take the humidity along the coast. So thanks for your videos. I am not a fan of facebook and other media but I will go through your videos. Best of luck to you.

I'm in Sacramento, California. It grows like weeds here. When it blooms, your whole yard smells good!

I love fresh Jujube! It's so rare cause no one really sells them cause the dehydrated form is more popular.

DAAANG!, that thing grew that fast?! I just planted one, it just looks like stick in the ground right now, about 4 feet high. Glad to see they can grow that fast.

This is really a good video. My favorite place to buy Jujube trees is the Ty Ty Nursery in Georgia, where several cultivars of jujubes are offered for sale.

Dried jujubes are used in Chinese & Koreans herbal soup and tea. It makes the soup sweet and are delicious.
