Hi, my name is Tommy. My late older brother (a singer-guitarist) not only perform at the Montreux show that gave us 'Smoke On The Water', but years later would throw Ritchie Blackmore out of his house! My brother was also at Jimi Hendrix's funeral with, amongst others, Tommy Bolin. There's more to this story and it's all true!

When it came out, i didn't know anybody with the rising album. I got my copy from a dude that was a shoplifter, he just told me to pick 3 lps and would steal them.the other albums were angel heaven on earth and hair of the dog. The live album was more popular. Its getting recognized now almost 50 years later, which is great..

Man, I hope Rod Evans will step back into the limelight and give us an idea of what he's gone through since the bogus Deep Purple debacle in 1980. Sounds like the guy got screwed royally by those promoters!

He was involved in the respiratory field of medicine after leaving Captain Beyond. Apparently he still lives in the USA. Can't see him ever breaking cover, now he's in his late 70's.
