Hi pal It's been 2 years since you install that clear clutch cover and I want to know if you had any issues since. Appreciate it you can provide any updates
Thank you so much, i ordered one and couldn’t find anything on it much, I was going to make a video myself once it came in but you beat me to it and I’m glad you did ! How is it at high speed ?
Brave, very brave using a Chinese rip off of the Ducabike clear clutch cover! I fitted the Ducabike clear clutch cover (£400 UK) which is made in Italy. The materials and machining on the Ducabike cover is exceptional, so it would worry me fitting potentially substandard materials, especially that plastic which is unlikely to be the quality of the Acrylic plastic supplied by Ducabike. Personally there's not a chance I'd be taking a chance of this failing on my £20k motorcycle, but I do applaud your bravery in giving it a go.
Knock on wood so far I haven’t had a single issue. I’m just a believer that just because we ride expensive bikes doesn’t mean that everything we buy has to be expensive for it. Aftermarket companies are charging an absurd amount because it says (Ducati) when the materials cost no more than any other bike.
@@MitEclipse91 fair enough 😊 though I'm a strong believer in "you get what you pay for" and 'buy cheap, buy twice" Personally, I didn't skrimp on buying the bike, so I will only buy quality products for it. And I do have an issue with Chinese manufacturers who copy designs, very often with substandard materials, processes and quality control....but each to their own. I couldn't be dealing with worrying if it's going to fail, hence why I bought a quality product. I do agree that prices are pumped up because it says Ducati though, but conversely would you fit cheap Chinese knock offs on a Ferrari? Totally get why you've done it, but it's not for me.
Hey James, I just purchased the same model and attempt to install it today. Any update on yours is everything good so far? no leaks or anything like that or any sign of the materials degrading as you use the bike more?
That clutch cover looks really good, nice seat cover by the way.
