Logitech G715 Aurora Collection : Long Term Review And Soundtested
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 17 янв 2023
- After awhile, this keyboard brought me back to the good ol' days of owning peripherals that didn't need to be customized too much. The Logitech G715 is a great wireless and wired keyboard that simply came in too late into the game. We expect to see the future for Logitech, where things would be even more customizable and gender-fluid!
Besides that, great start, great software as always!

omg this has been the best review i’ve seen out of any other videos :’) thank you for your review !! i’m planning to get this tomorrow ahahaha.
Thank you very much ! It's cute
Was looking for any youtuber to address whether the switches were soldered or not, and whether the included wire was white or not (as I wanna build a fully white gaming setup), youre the only youtuber I found that went through the review thoroughly, thank you! You have my subscription
Thank you very much for your kind words and sub! glad I managed to cover all your questions :)
video has a good professional quality to it I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers
we'll get there ! thank you very much for your comment it means the world to us!
Great longterm review, thanks :)
This was the best sounding keyboard that I tested today at a pc store (it had over 20ish different gaming keyboards to test out).
I would totally get this if it was hot swappable. Don't wanna buy a new one when a switch gets broken...
totally valid concern!
Thanks for the review! Once tried Keychron v1, I found the best keyboard. The only downside is that it's wired, but there's q pro series wire wireless option but for a significantly higher price.
Hey there. I don't know if you'll see this comment or if my question makes sense, but i changed the color to try the profiles, but i'm having real troubles to get back to the first colors/effects the keyboard had. So far, the profile "immersion" is the closest, but it really don't seem like it's the orignals colors (more blue and purple/pink than this one i think, maybe ?) And i can't find anywhere a way to find it, i couldn't change the colors manually with the program or find any Aurora profile on it. (Even so, i wouldn't be able to put the lightning in my actual profile, i don't know why)
Maybe i'm just dumb, but do you have any idea how to help me ? Thank you !
Great video btw ! :)
Do you have any other items from the collection? I'm interested in buying the whole set and would be interested in your long term opinion on the other peripherals.
yes, i have the whole set, it's on the zenthegeek website just search for logitech
How heavy are the brown switches on this keyboard?
I am looking for a lighter switch, somewhere in the 45g-50g range and this keyboard matches every other preference I have.
Weight is between red and blue, so it's acceptable it won't exhaust your fingers if that's what you're asking
The only reason to buy a brand mechanical keyboard these days is for flawless wireless connection.
"There are better customs, Keychron..." argument is flawed. Ofc, a cheap hotswap is easily more customizable. But no one beside Logitech and Razer and maybe Asus (I haven't tested it personally) offer reliable wireless. Plus, Logitech is champion on battery life.
I game wirelessly. Now I have a good Dareu keyboard, lubbed, custom stabs, foam, o-rings, xda caps, all good. Unfortunately sometimes it's missing clicks in the wireless mode, or it's registering double taps, even if the receiver is only 50 cm away.
yup, Logitech is so responsive in speed. I also have an ROG Azoth, which also uses wireless dongle and it's nearly as fast as logitech, but the keyboard is also able to hotswap, so that's the bridge between brand and custom, so if they can do it, I'm sure logitech can in the coming months
Thanks for the video, im thinking of buying one. but i live in the forrest so i have no chance of checking it out IRL, how is the fingergrip on the keys? is it slippy or you think its good surface?
Greetings from Sweden!
ah yeah and i forgot, is the wireless working good, response time and over all working good? =)
Hi! The Keycaps are PBT so the grip is fine even if you have oily fingers.
Wireless is perfect, recommend using dongle over Bluetooth. Fast and responsive. Thanks for watching and do leave a sub if you liked what we did 🫡
I think you're using the cloud wrist rest upside downs. lol nice vid althought
yup! it's more comfortable for me that way haha
Do you recommend this keyboard for productivity? Browsing the web and occasional video/photo editing? Or should it only be used for gaming?
any keyboard can do those things. If you like this keyboard's sound, comfort and media buttons then yes, you can use it for both work and gaming
Is there a same model in a black or grey color ?
No it doesn't sadly. The aurora collection only comes on this color
did you say you got linear switches or tactile?
It's the tactile switches since they're brown
@@ZenTheGeek thank you!
EIGHT HUNDRED BUCKS?!?!?!
YUP
what switches are these?
Logitech's own GX Mechanical tactile switches, brown
keyboard for 10k in PHP money looks like an office keyboard LOL X'D lightning si so bad
It is what it is po some people find it cute na..though it's actually quite pricey for wht it is lang hahahaha
@@ZenTheGeek true, tapos di pa hotswap ... daming options for for 3k to 5k budget with better options and upgradability compared dyan IMHO
Great review, really gave a good overview about the keyboard! I agree that in the age of custom keyboards this might be a bit outdated… at least it’s cute and a bit more affordable than a complete custom one 🥲
Glad it was helpful! Hope you could give us a sub 🎉
Have a good day!
The style maybe oudated(still awesome) but that keyboard isnt outdated my friend
