I will advise Reece James to just start coaching badge, that allows him plan for the future, these injuries just made him very inconsistent at playing on field
Segment about Lavia vs Enzo just shows what happens when people who dont understand statistical analysis start trying to weight things up by stats. My personal favourite part was when Joey made a point about Lavias long passing %age being higher - Lavia has play about 66 minutes this season and made 1 long pass which was successful so of course he is better in this metric. Creatively its almost impossible to say Lavia is better than Enzo - Enzo leads Shot Creating Actions, Prog Passes, Key Passes. Also much improved on defensive end.
Yea I didnt get Joey using those stats for this season, could've added Lavia's Southampton stint and compared to Enzo in the same stretch since per 90s averages it out

You can't argue about gameplay minutes being an experience metric for Noni/Saka but not give that grace to Mudryk for "football age". Makes it disingenuous
Mudryk isn't inconsistent, the issue is he consistently fails to impress. I simply dont understand given his pace why he isnt attacking the fullback more often, or attempting to get in behind (Noni does this) but Mishi wants to cut or pass inside, he isn't hugging that touchline. There is possible a player in there but right now he looks utterly devoid of confidence. I also question his understanding of the game, he fails to exploit space (look how Palmer naturally drifts into dangerous areas without really seeming to try), refer back to my point above that with this pace, he should be capable of isolating fullbacks, beating them or exploiting that space behind them. But he doesnt....

The only place we have great options is in attack. Keeper and defence we are lacking in quality. Without Fofana and Colwill, Badiashile and Disasi are a major concern. Both individually AND as a partnership.
Enzo can make the cutting pass to open up defenses, he seemed to have a understanding with Conor, but unlike Conor he isn’t a player who can makes the tackles to help out in defense and loses the ball a lot. Mudryk is so frustrating, he makes these great power runs but his decision making with the final ball is all over the place, he runs into walls or shoots when he should pass, but now and again makes a killer pass, he for sure brings energy when he’s subbed on but is that enough? This team is improving with every game we have the guns up front it’s just our defense that needs work. It will get better for sure.
I don't get why Reece get picked over Malo, if anyone proven in the last season and this one starting already, that he's the RB starter - it's Malo Gusto, you can't be throwing Reece into the line up just on 3 years old merit.
U don’t reckon madueke getting overhyped? He scored a hattrick and well done to him but consistency is key… and even in the game against palace… he missed from like 5 yards out…I like him but he’s got a longggggg wayyy to goooo…
I think the three in midfield are a problem, and i've not seen enough from Enzo to warrant his long term future at the club. Which is a shame because i remember last year thinking he was a world class player (perhaps he is but not in this system). The issue is this, if we played with a pivot then Enzo could sit deeper but the inversion of the FB forces one of those deeper midfielders to play higher up the pitch. And i'm not convinced by any of them in the final third. Having watched Lavia i can see him making that anchor role in midfield his own, he is mobile, combative and excellent in position (not creative, but excellent as someone who can retain possession under pressure) and Caicedo is off a similar mold, so they can rotate that 6 position. The issue for Enzo is he isn't mobile enough to play deeper, nor is he creative enough in the final third as the second 8/10. He is a round hole in a square peg and its going to continue to be a problem unless Maresca adapts his formation. Sadly the price tag weighs heavy on him as well as ppl expect more from a player costing this much. Doesnt mean i think he is a bad player, he just doesnt suit the style of play which makes me a little sad as i like him as a player.
Jorgensen, Reece, Fofana, Colwill, Cucu, Caicedo, Enzo, Noni, Cole, Neto, Jackson - as much as I like Lavia, him and Caicedo is very defensive. Would prefer Cucu to do the inverted as I don’t think Reece is fit enough to get up and down the pitch
To be fair we haven't seen enough of Jorgensen for him to start over Sanchez, I agree with Joey in picking Lavia over Enzo for our first team, he is better at defending than Enzo
Given all the attacking options we have we need Labia more than we need Enzo. And Enzo has ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to be Captain. The only reason managers persist with him is how much he cost us. In fact Caicedo/Gallagher, the combination that worked so well is more similar to Caicedo/Lavia than Caicedo/Enzo.

What's the point of creating chances if we can't convert them?
Love these strongest lineups, however Enzo 100% makes it for me and he’ll become very good this season under Maresca. Also like you guys said about the number of games we’re gonna play, it makes you think that this strongest lineup is not that important considering the squad depth we have and load management we’ll do 👌
James-Fofana-Cohwell-Crucur ---Caicedo--Lavia/Enzo Maddy--Palmer--jack/Sanc -----Nkunku/Felix -I’m done w/Jackson up top -I need more creativity and decisive passing from enzo
Enzo , is a great player , but he just doesnt suit our system , simple . Like for example , he would be amazing for a real madrid , in that kroos role . For chelsea , we have so many no.10s , that to compensate for that , we HAVE to play DMs like caicedo / lavia and gusto/cucu / veiga , who can invert . Enzo is neither a DM and neither a no.10/AM , so we dont really need him , and when he plays (since he is the captain) other players have to over compensate and the defence becomes open .
Lavia likely the one who will leave before enzo,, these injuries are bad, and seeing santos and ugwochuku, lavia this sn is redemption, he must stay fit
Honestly I will have to agree with Josh on Noni I don't think he's ready to be a first 11 selection. His on and off is not good for him. You can't play one good match and be off for the next 3-4 matches
Best attacking players in order based on actual skill/scoring. Neto and felix about the same, some good moments and some questionable. Palmer Nkunku Madueke Neto/Felix Jackson Sancho Mudryk
I agree with your team but nkunku must be in over jackson neto or madueke and palmer moves to rw nkunku is categorically our best player even if we love palmer so much
Palmer can play rw but then he can play in the right half space in possession and reece james can overlap them nkunku can play 10 and neto can play lw jackson upfront lavia and caicedo dm fofana rcb colwill ccb cucurella lcb jorgensen in goal
Idk if this is a brain rot take or not but hear me out: nkunku has played cm in the past and actually has been solid in his defensive work rate this year. Why not give him a game in the double pivot with either lavia or caiceido. He can make late runs into the box and play a similar role than Enzo did earlier in the season/preseason where he would sit in the right half space and create and occasionally run into the box. The issue with Enzo in the box was that his first touch was horrid but nkunku does not have this problem. Defensively he’d be good offensively he’d be creative and potentially could finish on the occasional late box entry. TLDR nkunku in the double pivot with lavia
Partey n Rice Kovacic n Rodri Natural CM.I don't think it makes sense playing a potential striker as a deep lying CM .We will leak goals and burden the defense. Can we be patient with Enzo. He's had a good start I believe.
Too many star players are at is disposal which can be very difficult for any manager to keep everybody happy. The front 3 behind the striker is not the issue, the issue is the midfield with Enzo Fernandez who does not fit well with Caceido for some reason I don't know. How these two South American players cannot play together?. We need an upgrade for Fofana who is more technical on the ball and also we need to take Malo Gusto out of that midfield and use him as a Full back like what Poch did. Too much experiment from Maresca that is killing the team, I see Caceido playing as a Center back just weird for me.
Nkunku and palmer should be the two attacking 8s/10s. One DM with the inverting fullback should be enough. Noni has started well but I think neto is still better and want to see him at RW. Sancho/ felix at LW. Keep Jackson at ST.
Lol how would I DM be enough when we literally are getting overrun in the midfield with two cms? Inverted are fine but even Pep is not stupid enough to just have one CM or DM with Inverted fullbacks
Nkunku has to play - and it’s time to accept Reece James isn’t going to be what we had hoped, constantly injured and when he’s back he’s been a liability of late - we need another club captain and I don’t think it should be Enzo either
I don't think anyone can truly assess Lavia yet. None of the numbers mean much since he hasn't played full-time in a competitive game in over a year. Lavia had a title role throughout the pre-season and Chelsea could barely win a game (only v America was it at all convincing, a team that plays in a second-rate league, as Mexico's) - so I think he will have to ease into the line-up and probably will work well once he does, because he WAS one of the better players in pre-season, but we really don't know yet what he can truly offer. Meanwhile, Enzo and Caicedo were great second half v Wolves (part of the reason that game was won; and v Crystal Palace the finishing was atrocious, should have been 3-0 by half-time, so the midfield worked well). Think Neto is a great sub, really gives a burst of energy when he comes in; from these early games seems less poignant as a starter, though; seems to fizzle out early. I think Sancho could be interesting as a starter over Mudryk... wonder why Nkunku hasn't started on that side, could also be interesting.
Not a fan of Sanchez to me let’s to many goals in reminds me of kepa. Sanchez good with his feet but that’s about it. And to me Enzo hase to be in there. To me caicedo and Lavia are same player and they can’t initiate attack well enough. But other than that I’m good with it
I am upset Nkunku is not getting more time in the Premier League... I feel like he's the only natural Finisher we have on our team besides Palmer

What it boils down to is, we've got two really good finishers. It just doesn't make sense to have a first 11 without them. What's the point of creating chances if we can't convert them?
I think youre playing Jackson on the left wing and Nkunku as a St !
My fravourite RUclipsr
Love these strongest lineups, however Enzo 100% makes it for me and he’ll become very good this season under Maresca. Also like you guys said about the number of games we’re gonna play, it makes you think that this strongest lineup is not that important considering the squad depth we have and load management we’ll do 👌
James and lavia in the middle would be amazing to watch i xan only pray they both can remain fit.
Sanchez
Fofana-colwill-cucurella
Gusto-caicedo
Palmer-nkunku
Neto-jackson-joao felix
I know it looks mad but trust me this will be a dangerous team
You would lose so much with this 24:01
@@davidadetun8029 lol
i agree enzo probably doesnt get it in but other than palmer hes the only one that can play THAT pass that can unlock a defense
James-Fofana-Cohwell-Crucur
---Caicedo--Lavia/Enzo
Maddy--Palmer--jack/Sanc
-----Nkunku/Felix
-I’m done w/Jackson up top
-I need more creativity and decisive passing from enzo
Enzo , is a great player , but he just doesnt suit our system , simple .
Like for example , he would be amazing for a real madrid , in that kroos role .
For chelsea , we have so many no.10s , that to compensate for that , we HAVE to play DMs like caicedo / lavia and gusto/cucu / veiga , who can invert . Enzo is neither a DM and neither a no.10/AM , so we dont really need him , and when he plays (since he is the captain) other players have to over compensate and the defence becomes open .
Lavia plays deeper than Enzo so obviously hes sideways and backwards passes will be less 🤦♀️
You can't play one good match and be off for the next 3-4 matches
wouldnt have put Enzo either, also Caisedo...but whats sets him aside from Enzo is his defending...
For GK ut also depends where and when the ball is being given away and which giveaways lead to opposition chances. Are there any stats on that?
I think Jorgensen looks more like the cop in the US version of The Killing!
Jorgensen
Reece-Fofana-Chilwell-Cucu
Enzo-Lavia/Caicedo
Noni Palmer Felix
Nkunku 🎉
17:53 fofana can't play in the middle of a back three in possession so that's why that won't happen
Everyone choose Lavia but Same Lavia hasn't played 90 min football for Chelsea since he arrived and he now even injured
Lavia played just one game smh
Neto made most of his appearances for Wolves on the right side
Midfield pair (Caicedo and Lavia)
LW(Neto) AM(Nukunku) RW(Palmer)
Felix, Noni and sancho can be squad players
Palmer will struggle as a RW under under Maresca, there are no overlapping Full backs, the 10 role is his position
Replace Cucarella with Veiga and you are on Point,, ofcourse when Reece is available he's on the pitch.
Best attacking players in order based on actual skill/scoring. Neto and felix about the same, some good moments and some questionable.
Palmer
Nkunku
Madueke
Neto/Felix
Jackson
Sancho
Mudryk
Joey is Danny drinkwater look alike
Sanchez
James Fofana Colwill Cucurella
Lavia- Caicedo
Neto-Palmer-Sancho

Stick to fantasy
Partey n Rice
Kovacic n Rodri
Natural CM.I don't think it makes sense playing a potential striker as a deep lying CM .We will leak goals and burden the defense. Can we be patient with Enzo. He's had a good start I believe.
Caicedo or Lavia should come in to close a game(subbing enzo). It really depends on who you have in front of you.
Does everybody experience a sudden drop of sound in right ear at around 6:00 or am i specially abled all of a sudden?
Sancho , enzo , mudryk , sanchez , badiashle , Reece James ( realistically) , felix , dont start in the strongest chelsea 11
Finally someone who doesn't jump on this Reece James sentiment right away. Malo Gusto is our starting RB right now for sure.
Bro, Enzo is literally the best player in the squad
Why doesn't Felix and Sancho fit? One hasn't started and one just joined?
Are you blind?
@@RasenRendanX "strongest"
Big Joey 💙 up the Chels
Nkunku and palmer should be the two attacking 8s/10s. One DM with the inverting fullback should be enough. Noni has started well but I think neto is still better and want to see him at RW. Sancho/ felix at LW. Keep Jackson at ST.
Lol how would I DM be enough when we literally are getting overrun in the midfield with two cms? Inverted are fine but even Pep is not stupid enough to just have one CM or DM with Inverted fullbacks
Starting only 1 out of Enzo, Caicedo and Lavia would be crazy
Madueke is great, he should be RW. Neto LW. Striker should be anyone out of 1. Nkunku 2. Felix 3. Jackson
Well said
Felix isn't a winger lads, that's why he flopped at Barca. He needs to play somewhere in the middle
I think Cucurella inverting will up caicedo and Enzo game and they will play better
GK Jörgenson
RB Caicedo (our RBs are hurt)
RCB Fofana
LCB Colwill

RDM Enzo
LDM Lavia
RM Madueke
LM Neto

Enzo reminds me of De Jong at Barca. No matter the coach and no matter the talent we can see it just doesn’t work
I’m really hoping Carney is just building fitness
Cole Palmer needs a free role like Hazard had.
Jorgensen; Reece, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Lavia, Palmer; Sancho, Palmer, Neto, Nkunku
Difficult to fit in Nkunku he is not a winger or a striker and he isn't playing ahead of Palmer
Nkunku has to play - and it’s time to accept Reece James isn’t going to be what we had hoped, constantly injured and when he’s back he’s been a liability of late - we need another club captain and I don’t think it should be Enzo either
Sanchez
Vega Fofana Colwill Cucurella
Palmer Caicedo Nkunku
Madueke Jackson Felix
Nkunku leaving in Jan im telling you for liverpool arsenal or bayern top clubs will want him and he will be fed up of the bench

yall be sleeping on the liga fr fr , last years winner is a spanish team, euros winner was spain. Jorgussen will become a worldclass keeper.
Reece James is putting us in a box 😢😢
Sancho will take up the lw position over neto eventually
Jorgensen cannot start at this moment
Unpopular opinion...Time's up for Reece at CFC
Not a fan of Sanchez to me let’s to many goals in reminds me of kepa. Sanchez good with his feet but that’s about it. And to me Enzo hase to be in there. To me caicedo and Lavia are same player and they can’t initiate attack well enough. But other than that I’m good with it
We're all waiting for that Sanchez error... we know it's coming LOL
What happened to Veiga? He was supposed to be the chosen one.
