Now that I rewatched the video, I realize the dog is doing exactly what’s it’s supposed to do. Herd the sheep, it is using its distance as a tool. Getting closer will move the sheep where he wants and stopping will stop the sheep, but there needs to be space between the two. So smart. Thinking about a border collie or Aussie shepherd for my next dog.
I love how patient you are with them. They alternate between being inquisitive children and impenetrable roadblocks. Rambro seems to be following you very closely these days, more interested in getting pets than ramming. So sweet. Love all these guys.

I found this oddly fascinating to watch. This guy obviously loves his Rams, and judging by then way they respond to him, they reciprocate the feeling. He is also skilled in his work, and appears to live a relaxed lifestyle. I am jealous! Love this channel!
@Ranjit Tyagi I'm deeply sorry for that difficult transition. I lost my dad in 2016, and it can be hard to stay motivated after something like that. I feel you will heal more with time though. I wish for the best for you and your family.

I had goats that were like that: always with me, looking over my shoulder, standing in my way, sorting through my nail bucket (thankfully didn't swallow any, just chewed on them & then spit them out) & standing on my boards whenever I needed to fix something...Delightful creatures.
