Future New York - Plus Pool on the East River

+POOL is an initiative to bring a floating swimming pool to the East River, on the Manhattan and/or Brooklyn banks, in New York City; a permanent location has yet to have been determined. The 9,300 square feet pool would be filled with water filtered from the river it floats in.

The fact is that you can swim in incredibly clean water in New York city. Plus Pool is a cool idea but it doesn't offer the escape and true sense of nature that Rockaway Beach does.
