One of the best end credits songs ever! Even after 25 years I still play this on my iPod I think this song can apply to friendships we’ve all had coming from humble beginnings and turning into something monumental over time
This movie captured my heart even though i'm in the "millenial" generation. Its just so beautiful! And this song when I heard it in the end of the movie I was absolutely in love!!
I loved the soundtrack and movie since my childhood days back in the 2000's when I was about 7 or 8 years old I heard this song play at my job at Walgreens sure does bring me back memories listening to this I feel somewhat old now that I'm 27 years old today. It's 2020 still love Anastasia and the soundtrack songs to it I would play this song one day for my dream wedding when I meet the girl of my dreams in the future. ❤❤❤
This was my parents wedding song. I love it so much. When I was little I never knew the name of the song I alwayd just called it "mommy and daddy's wedding song".
My god, I'm seven again. I'd say this sounds like a typical 90s pop song (which it does), but in a weird way, it sounds kind of like something from season 1 of Pokemon.
“ NONE TOLD ME I WAS GOING TO FIND YOU, UNEXPECTED WHAT YOU DID TO MY HEART, AND I LOST HOPE AND YOU WERE THERE TO REMIND ME THIS IS THE START ❤️❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭
I wish they should use this song to show all these heartwarming moments from don bluth. Like a tribute. Including all dogs go to heaven, rockadoodle, an American tail , land before time and lots more.
One of the first VHS films that my father showed me at 4. Much like other Disney classic films, this remains to be my favorite by Fox Animation. Good times in the 90s
musicaltheatergeek79 those would be weird in a music@“ no? This wasn’t really part of the movie so it makes sense it wasn’t in it. It’s just a credits song
One time I was at a grocery store and this song came on and I LOST MY ENTIRE SHIT. lol I screamed!!! I then started to sing and dance in the candy aisle with people all around. lol Someone put a ring on this quick! 😂🤪
For whatever reason, this song always makes me a little emotional. Maybe it was the amazing combination of vocals by Richard Marx and Donna Lewis, two artists I’ve always liked. Maybe it was the melody, which was ethereal. But part of me thinks it’s the lyrics, the message: that even in the face of so many obstacles, so much darkness, love can still shine through the clouds. That if you believe in it, and it’s true and real and pure, love CAN conquer all.
Omfg somehow I've been looking for this song for years?? Like the general uplifting beat in the background. I CAN'T BELIEVE I'VE FINALLY FOUND IT AND IT WAS ANASTASIA THE WHOLE TIME. Sorry for hte caps just... THIS IS AMAZING!!! I love this song. XD
Omg!!! Im freaking 16 and finding this song made me realize how much I love this movie!! Starting watching this movie when 4! I know the songs and even the majority of the lines! Thank you so much for me to come back to the best movie of all time!!!💕💕💕💕💕💕
I'm just fascinated by this movie... It reminds me of my childhood so much...! Just went to the cinema by myself the other day to watch it and I also went to see the broadway musical.
I had a Richard Marx phase in 2014 and then met him at one of his concerts only to find out he did this song AFTER meeting him, I’ve been watching this movie since I was a baby! I would’ve thanked him for this😭 one of his best songs fr
I'm literally listening this song everyday hours and hours, specially when i'm doing 42km walks with 2 other songs... Well more like 2 At the Beginning (One being "Here Next to You", different lyrics, but At the Beginning Song) and 1 other song. I wanted even hear Finnish version of this song, but there is none... So i made Finnish fansub of song. In otherwords, only text... I think i should one day make another version because i know some parts is not good or could be bit better.
This is 2020 and i can't stop loving this everlasting power ballad. Donna Lewis & Richard Marx managed to bring the romance out of this songs. Compared to the recently performed musical Anastasia, sorry but i'd rather hearing the soundtracks from the animation version. Anastasia's by far the best animation (its not even Disney's!) And i am hoping they'd consider to remake it in live action movie. Dosvedanya! ❤
I actually think he was one interesting character. He was sort of missing from the Broadway musical. Struck me kind of weird, he's like the antagonisi in the story
They sang this song at the 8th grade graduation the year it came out, I was in 3rd grade then, I remember thinking how “old” and “grown” the 8th graders are
this just screams, "90's!"
+Meagan Davis It really, really does. It's what I thought the minute I heard the song.
I know dude ^_^
Very true! This was when Donna Lewis' only hit "I love you always forever" song came out and plagued the radio stations for all to come.
The good 90's
yep
I had this on VHS! I replayed this video until the black film tangled in my VHS player.
I miss being a kid with all these old animated movies. Oh, the classics...
Me too everything is nothing but faded memory.
my future wedding song right here :D
+heather Benson I always thought the same thing when I first heard this song. It's perfect. Just need to find that perfect woman... :-P
haha same with me except perfect man :D
+heather Benson So...where do you live? Haha
haha cheeky xp NZ
Lol aww you guys are so cute ☺️
One of the best end credits songs ever!

The movie most commonly mistaken for a Disney .. still a beautiful masterpiece .. never let this movie die ..
Technically now it is a Disney movie
@@theinternetisajoke I still like it (How to Train your Dragon/Annie and Elizabeth/Tarzan and Jane/Robert the Terrible). What about you?

This movie came out when the millennials were kids!! It was released in 1997, I was 8 years old! I am a millennial, I was born in 1989.
I used to rewind the vhs over and over to watch/listen to this song playing during the credits!! ❤🎶❤🎶❤🎶❤🎶
Yessss! Same!
Same! I heard this at a Walmart once and started BAWLING it was great
Are you me?! This song is magic. I still can't help but sing and dance along even now, twenty years later.
AHH me too.
@@LiftedMoonLightunderstood (July 12th,2023 and September 6th,2023/🙂).
why does this song go so hard?? my god
right!!!!!!!!!!!
The definition of power ballad! Lmao
This song has made me cry on more than one occasion
This is going to be my wedding song
Genevieve Scrimgeour it's so beautiful!
It's a good choice, but I'm going with The Plagues from the Prince of Egypt!
A more perfect wedding day song I’m hard pressed to find.
I'm going to have this played at my wedding
The nostalgia-
I still have the movie
Same girl
This will always be the Anastasia/Dimitri song for me. It's beautiful.
I have an asthma attack when someone tells me they've never watched Anastasia, and I don't even have asthma...
Hugo Fitzwilliams same tho lol
Same. I definitely watched this when I was younger, but I remember bits and pieces. I actually just watched it last night on Netflix. Love it
Ahahahhaha i like your comment..........and my comment is a year late
@@BlueMilkyWaySciche bruh
I have the same reaction when people think it's a Disney movie
she has such a 90's voice! ha ha aha love it so much!

Future Wedding Song!!! Hands down!
childhood memories
Oh man. I remember loving this song when I was 7 when the movie first came out. I'm glad to find out I still love it, as well as this movie.
+Robogabriel Agreed! Or even the Pokemon Movies either in a montage of friendship or the ending credits lol
Exactly!
+Robogabriel I was thinking it kind of sounds like "Don't Say You Love Me" by M2M from Pokemon the First Movie
+Shelley Riley exactly
I so wish that I had a chance to relive my childhood
“ NONE TOLD ME I WAS GOING TO FIND YOU, UNEXPECTED WHAT YOU DID TO MY HEART, AND I LOST HOPE AND YOU WERE THERE TO REMIND ME THIS IS THE START ❤️❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭
Anastasia was just released on Netflix Philippines, now im inlove again with the movie and with the soundtrack!
Its one of the best animated movies.
I wish they should use this song to show all these heartwarming moments from don bluth. Like a tribute. Including all dogs go to heaven, rockadoodle, an American tail , land before time and lots more.
Classic Don Bluth at his very best. This is his great masterpiece
One of the first VHS films that my father showed me at 4. Much like other Disney classic films, this remains to be my favorite by Fox Animation. Good times in the 90s
So uplifting !!! Always raised my spirit.
Ah! Heard this song for the first time on the radio October 1997, Sounds just as good now as it did then! ^^
This gives me so much nostalgia particularly for Christmas in the 90s
When I was 8 this was officially the best song ever written in my mind.
I haven't watched this movie a while
I never remember how good this songs chorus is
I hope they have the song in the Broadway musical
They didn't perform it on the Hartford Stage! But I hope they add it for the Broadway run, though.
It's not in the show, sadly. They made a ton of other changes, too. For example, no Pooka or Bartok, either.
musicaltheatergeek79 those would be weird in a music@“ no? This wasn’t really part of the movie so it makes sense it wasn’t in it. It’s just a credits song
Just coming back to revisit this song. How did i forget how much i loved this song as a kid!!
This song perfectly sums up this movie. It’s so beautiful and magical.
The best song from the movie imo
Yeah! Don Bluth songs always have the best songs at the end credits.
I love this song and this movie! When I was little, this movie was one of my favorites and always will be.
It's the best I had at my wedding opening with my hubby no one thought I put love song it was beautiful ❤
Such an underrated movie😔❤️
But it was a good underrated film by Fox
Holy Cow! I haven't listened to this since I was a kid. AT 21 seconds I almost lost my breath from being pulled back in time, lol.
This song always makes me cry, jc
This song spews out so much hope, love, adventure into the beautiful unknown..... :')
One time I was at a grocery store and this song came on and I LOST MY ENTIRE SHIT. lol I screamed!!! I then started to sing and dance in the candy aisle with people all around. lol Someone put a ring on this quick! 😂🤪
Big salute to the person who put that on track to see who else grew up with that!!

I love this song. At The Begining

I dedicate this to the end of an era for the Pokémon anime as we say goodbye to Ash and Pikachu as our main heroes.

To think that this movie was NEVER made by Disney. It's amazing how it was able to be on par with the Renaissance films in terms of quality.

This song by Donna Lewis and Richard Marx is a wonder song to Anastasia fans everywhere
Actually walking down the aisle in September to this
AT THE BEGINNING OF A WONDERFUL JOURNEY of all my Life.

awesome
Richard Marx and Donna Lewis!! 💜💜
I think this my favorite song in the whole movie
Saint의 역사를 새로 쓸것이다
죽어서만 칭송받는 그런 평가따위
필요없다
어디서도 본적없는 길이기에
주저하겠지만

My favourite song in the movie him so glad it's on Disney + now
This sounds like it would fit exactly into an old Pokémon Movie soundtrack.
