Ryan Sheckler will forever be my favorite mainstream skater. Dude was in video games as a teen 😂 once you can air out the LES steps, everything else is child’s play 💪
The problem with the strike mission is that without good prep time you're more likely to fail, and if you do fail you could easily cause a big traffic accident, endangering a bunch of random people who didn't consent to the danger and couldn't see it coming. They were chased off for a reason.
Yeah but if anyone can do that super crazy $hit its RedBull sponsored pros. But I get what your saying that crossed a few lines especially in a foreign country 🤷🏽♂️
Wtf are you talking about 😂 Ryan landed that gap just fine. He's a pro lil ah dude, stop comparing yourself 😂
@@sebastianiturrino6582 The 20 red bull athletes that have died on the job were all pros too. Some of them took bystanders with them.
You're not really wrong, but that's just skater (especially street skater) culture. The entire subculture is based on breaking rules, skating where you're not supposed to skate, and being reckless in regards to one's own safety. Changing any of that about the culture changes the culture, you can't introduce rules to a culture that is rebellious in nature, it's like trying to get every teenager to stop drinking alcohol
@@98loud I mean even if I agreed with you, this isn't about recklessness with one's own safety, but innocent bystanders. I don't think you'll find many people in any scene that are okay with that. Breaking the rules doesn't have to mean hurting or endangering other people.
Personally I don’t think redbull should promote this kind of stunt as unlike their usual big budget stunts there is no safety protocol in place and there are literally people involved that don’t want to be involved and could get injured due to these men’s egos. My 13 year old son is just getting into skating and loves to watch skating stunts and I don’t want him thinking that endangering bystanders is okay for a pointless stunt
How does it endanger bystanders?
@@notsure1969 one wrong move dude could crash some vehicles or causing sudden distraction and lead to accidents. this is like parkour in crowded area buildings and they fall onto people below the buildings

I get it but these are professionals and that's their job. Your job is to make sure your child understands that
In my country, a truck driver and his companion died recently because a pedestrian appeared in his path from a blind spot. On reflex, he hit the brakes and the pedestrian was safe but the load of metal rods they were transporting flung forward and went through the driver + companion. So that could happen here. Dangerous stunts like these shouldn't involve people who are just trying to go about their day
You know the friendship is real when they say “at least we’ll be arrested together”

To be honest back when i skated I wasnt a big fan of Ryan, but he had the most insane comeback i've ever seen, this dude is just crazy
Hate to sound like an ol' man, but, I'm surprised Red Bull would attach themselves to this kind of stupid sh*t. This dude could have been toast if he landed unstable, he would have been under that large vehicle that drove by as he landed.
Just as I'm not a fan of fools using public roads to stunt in their cars like they're on a race track, the same applies here.
this. there should have been a spotter that gave him a go ahead when traffic was clear. that was soooooo risky.
most of their athletes could be toast in most of their stunts, turned out fine
I've been a fan of Sheckler since before he had braces so I knew this was no prob for him. HOWEVER, in present day, what I wonder is, what's the insurance premium Red Bull pays?! What's the legality of this had he bit it? And further, WHO insured this? Gotta make sure I dump the stock if holding. 😅
dying and becoming an angel is the main way Red Bull gives you wings
Seems to have worked for them so far...
Im going to be real with you, I don’t respect the passion these men are trying to portray. Skaters should be respectful. This is why Spain is closing its borders. Cause tourists find every possible way to disrespect the country.
And if it goes wrong and you go under that truck next to you that driver has to live with it for the rest of his life. I’m glad no one got hurt but that was so selfish and arrogant. Why can’t you just make a ramp at home?

Making a video about it doesn’t make you less of a tool for doing it. It’s not even a particularly impressive stunt; it was done purely because of where it is and the danger the traffic poses, which deliberately embroils unwitting members of the public in your childish stunt. Any one of those drivers might have had a lifetime of flashbacks to the time they ran over a man-child just so he could get some likes. Grow up and start thinking about others. There’s a reason the police may arrest you for this; they’re not comic book villains in your adventure.
I mean, I think that what they did is cool. But you have a really good point and also expressed it very well too. I believe that redbull is very cautious about the people they hire and they wouldn't even have done it if they weren't completely sure that it would turn out well. Plus, I don't think they've villanized the police at all, even though they've talked about it for narrative.
Anyways, you're right about feeling worried, anything could happen, even if they're professionals.
it looks like they were also in a foreign country! imagine going to a foreign country and not only lacking any consideration to the locals but also their laws.. the fact that they brought in paramedics and firefighters, etc. tells me that they probably thought this was a potential un-aliving attempt and were there to save his life. sad as that actually took resources away from someone else who may have definitely needed those first responders
