I gotta admit. I'm really enjoying the slight note of disgust and anger in your voice talking about how good Liverpool have been. And tbh, you are pretty unbiased in your analysis. I think you've earnt a sub and a like.
As a Liverpool fan, I never thought that I would see the day when we are more worried about the game against Nottingham Forest than Manchester United. As for the UCL, Liverpool might drop points as Slot is most likely to field in the second-tier team since Liverpool already qualified. No point risking your top players in dead rubber games.
The information provided by the manager & his coaches to the players at half-time has been a game changer. The structure he's given to the team has brought the best out of all the player's & they're loving it. Klopp was a top manager but it had all kinda run it's course after nine years everyone was either exhausted &/or stressed out, it was just too full on. By the time the end of the season arrived Liverpool had run out of steam. Arne Slot has been a breath of fresh air for player's & the fan's.
More needs to be said about VAR today, not bias but looked at every goal like a CSI murder case. They disallowed a goal as offside when Salah who had the ball was ahead of the last defender. So the Leicester defender does not need a line drawn Nunez just needs to be behind him. Inept or bias Mancs ? Never cost us but it’s ludicrous we have officials who don’t know the rules too hell bent on doing Liverpool over whenever possible.
Liked and subbed because, even though you are a rival fan, I find you give unbiased analysis on your rivals games and are very knowledgeable. Keep up the good work Henry, and I hope you have something to cheer about come the end of the season.......although I think that would be more likely the sacking of your manager, rather than winning a trophy......but you never know :0)
Fair play bud. I'm a Liverpool fan who loves footy. It's nice to see others like yourself who are objective because it's a beautiful game. I will always give credit to other teams as long as there is no cockiness or idiocy from the managers.
Henry...this is all due to the fantastically good midfield rebuilt by Klopp before he left. Credit must also be given to Arne Slot for the good work he has done leading Liverpool to the top of the table as well as the champions league. I think Liverpool can win a few trophies this season. Signing the right players with the right age and decent salaries is the answer to good performances.
Gakpo is a beast, like if Konate was attacking player (and viceversa). We showed some character, but all in all, this wasn´t our best game. Happily we performed in high level for time enough to win, but a tougher team could´ve hurt us. That being said, of course IF the opponent was tougher, we´d changed as well to match it.
@Qlicky it's the reality. I don't think people like you can accept it and still think deluded Arteta is in a title race. That creature is only in a race for 5th to 8th. Nothing more.
@@neilpa Never said Arsenal were in a title rice, did I? I'm merely asking why are you posting the same regurgitated comment all over youtube? You think it's some brilliant wisdom everyone needs to hear? Also, creature? Are you 7 or something?
@@neilpa I could have sworn Liverpool were top of the table this time last year too. On their way to a quadruple... Funny how reality works sometimes, eh? That damned VAR/PGMOL. They're to blame.
Slot has won Manager of the month once, November, actually. Surely he'll win it this month, too, though, now that Maresca lost today. Although this month has probably been the first time Liverpool have 'had' a blip, what with the two draws in a row and a couple of slightly more laboured performance despite wins. Yet they are still the strongest team this month.
He normally dips around January, but we'll see. He's looking the best I've ever seen him so far. At this rate, he could score more than his debut season.
he got manager of the month in November ;) ( stoned edit here ) ... it is mad that nots are 3rd.. or is it? i mean they are the ONLY team to beat us yet lol xD thats fkn bonkers.. YNWA
I had and almost the perfect boxing day: Chelsea lost, man utd lost, liverpool won, Tottenham... you had one job! 🤦♂ Naa.. all joking aside, I respect this Forest team a hell of a lot more than any other team in the top 4 right now. if they get European football, never mind champions league, that is insane. I think, what Klopp did after the match was lovely, he sent Jones a text message, congratulating him on his goal in his 100th appearance for Liverpool. I think Slot plays the kids vs you in the cup. maybe 1 or 2, may 3 senior players in the starting lineup, one of them will be Kelleher, so you have a good chance beating us that match I think. If you bottle that though, expect to be bantered like chelsea were vs Klopp's kids lol
Yes, Liverpool are unstoppable etc. Until they get stopped. Everyone is trying their best to talk the title all the way to Anfield (for some reason, not really clear why this year Liverpool MUST win the Premier League but football is a funny game and football pundit vibes are even funnier). Should we just cancel the 2nd half of the season and hand the title to Liverpool now as a kind of New Year present? This season has only just started, pal. And Liverpool are 7 points clear! Wow. Unstoppable. Teams have been known to blow 14 point leads after New Year you know! Seem to recall one team…who was it…oh yes I believe it was Man Utd when the penny dropped for Wenger and Bergkamp at the Arsenal. But hey Ho it’ll never happen, Liverpool are Unstoppable.
that salah goal was so beautiful and effortless
He's won manager of the month. The real surprise is how he hasn't been manager of the month for all the months of this season so far

100% right

Not quite liverpool need one point to guarantee it.
For a few years Nottingham forest were the best team in Europe

Tbh Nunez was just infront of the ball - the rule is behind the ball not the player who passed the ball. Was really tight but I’d say he was off
@@barrywhite7246 exactly. Nunez was clearly offside.
I was not worried going 1 - 0 down.
Great tactical change. First half many long passes into the box. 2nd half more short passes over the ground.
Great breakdown as ever
We win when everyone else drops points, and everyone else drops points when we drop points 😂
