This awesome is video.
It's a good video, but I predict a lower watch time and viewer retention, at least for non-mobile views.
As in it's all there in the description.
Só cool

The propeller box was debuted in NSMBW. It wasn't wearable, but it works almost exactly the same anyway.
No, the propeller flower makes a no-mask power-up.

Lakitus debuted in Super Mario Bros, but Lakitus Cloud debuted in Super Mario World because clouds are not ridable in SMB1 and they are ridable in SMW.
Pink coins are exclusive to Super Mario Maker, but key coins are found in Super Mario 3D World.
Mistaken pink coins are in super Mario run
@@terryhobbsiii thought the same
Super Mario Wiki says First Appearance: Super Mario Bros. (1985)
SMW (1990) was the first to hijack Lakitus Cloud.
Fun fact: The one-way walls are actually taken from _Sutte Hakkun._
Jeez. weird how donkey kong arcade had the conveyor belt but smb1 didn't
*What?*
*How?*
Ariel why are you on top comments I swear to God
It’s not weird for gimmicks from previous mario games to not appear in the next game. Besides, Donkey Kong Arcade isn’t even part of the mario 2d platformer series

Technically the Pink Coin is a Key Token from Mario 3D World...but the Pink Coin itself debuted in MM1...
Actually in super mario bros special there were pink coins
However i don't think they have the same purpose
Fun fact:Lakitus cloud didn't debut in SMB1 or SMB3, lakitu was flying in a moving cloud block
So by that logic lava Bubble didn't debut in SMB or SMB3.
Great video!
fun fact: in yoshis island on snes there is item wha works simillary to one-way wall, if you want a example from mario game, there is the same thing in super mario advance 4 for gba

I'm still hopeful there will be an option to have game styles like:
Super Mario 3D Land
New Super Mario Bros Wii (Ice Flower and Penguin Power Up)
New Super Mario Bros DS (And old bosses and enemies and Blue Shell)
Super Mario 64 DS (Playable Mario, Luigi, Wario, Yoshi)
Super Mario Odyssey
And a Rock Mountain Theme

Fun fact: the checkpoint has been here since smb1 in 1985, but has only been depicted as a flag since nsmb in 2006
The Trampoline first appeared in Donkey Kong (1981)
Trampolines debuted in Donkey Kong. They're seen right in 11:20 (it's clearly the same object as in DKjr). The only thing was, you didn't jump on them; they just bounced and were a moving obstacle. But this usage definitely counts, because of the way they are used to bounce (and not always to jump on) in modern games.
It's even on the thumbnail!
Those are jacks
I've seen them called that once, in the Mario Mania guide, in the little history of Mario it gave starting with Donkey Kong. I thought that an odd descriptor. But I don't think they had really settled on what exactly they were to be called as at that time. Is "trampoline" now even official? I simply thought of them as "springs". In any case. it clearly was intended to be some kind of bouncy item, that could bounce itself, as in DK, but you could naturally bounce off of it as well, as in JR.
Those are actually enemies because they have ai and they can hurt you
@@the.192 Called Jacks
@4:49 - Cloud Lift SMB3 @5:19 In the cloud block clip, Mario rides one ala SMB1...
That's a Cloud BLOCK.
I'm surprised red coins weren't in any games before Mario maker
*pink coins. Red coins have been around since at least Mario 64
The 10-Coin and 30 Coin ones confused me
17:50 Guiding me in the wrong direction, huh? That is the way they are placed in SMW
warp doors technically don't debut until smb2, after all, the door in smb2j is never entered by mario..
and with the lakitu's cloud, Lakitu himself debuted in SMB, but the Lakitu's Cloud item appeared in smb3 (called Jugem's Cloud), with the modern properties of a flying vehicle being introduced in smw.
Super Mario Wiki.
@@Christopherphillips207 yes
@@chuuweebyou It says First Appearance: Super Mario Bros. (1985)
However if you go the History section it say Super Mario series: Super Mario Bros. 3 (Lakitu's Cloud)
@@Christopherphillips207 which is weird tbh since yea the item originates from Lakitu, it doesn't ever appear as an item until SMB3, with its modern function first appearing in SMW.
@@chuuweebyou Indeed.
Also the 2 comments think that trampoline debuted in DK when that's incorrect because those are Jacks. (That i had to debunk about)
10:41 that is incorrect.
If you are talking about just Lakitu’s cloud, then it will appear in later games, as when you kill Lakitu, his cloud stays with him in SMB1.
That is not what he meant by lakitu's cloud
@@Toasty-et6ve What? (Replying to a 1y ago comment)
7:49 *Screams in NSMBWII 9-7*
The checkpoint originated in Super Mario Bros, but they were invisible. In 1-2 there's a spot before you get to the 3 pirranas in pipes, that is where the checkpoint is
It also appears in "New" super mario bros. Ds, but like SMB 1, they're also invisible
6:09 you know that in super mario 64 that were smaller stones, don't you know?
Ok but still a item that acts the same
They're actually made out of cork. Those stuff that boards are made out of where you can put the tacks and the strings in and convince yourself of any bullshit conspiracy theory
Technically there's checkpoint flags in super Mario bros but their just invicble
12:29 They can also be found in Wario Land: Shake It!
Anyone else noticed most of the levels were recreations of some levels like the world 1 cuphead level and that remake of nsmb 1-2 in 3dworld?
Porcupuffer and Fire Bro will return to 2D Styles and Fire Bar will return to 3D Style when DLC Releases
I called blinking block with "automatic p-swith block" because the color is red and blue
that's sick😂
7:09 - 7:22 that's a Super Mario World recreation (NSMBU style)
the bean stalk was actually made in 1982’s dk jr (and spring being dk)
The one in () are Jacks.
If u count the middle ring from yoshi's island a checkpoint, the checkpoint originated from yoshi's island
Key coins debuted in super Mario 3D world
There is a Fire Bar in the Super Mario 3D World Game but there is no Fire Bar in DLC
the ! block in super mario world gives you a powerup {not a coin} just like a ? block
Checkpoints in general debuted in Super Mario World
SMB1 had mid-level checkpoints
correct me if im wrong, but isn`t one-way gates originated in yoshi games, such as yoshi wooly world? even if it`s different-looking, it still has the same function, right?
In that case, they actually debuted in SMB2, because semisolids are just upward facing one-ways.

i thought that check points originated from SMW...

Super Mario Maker came out in 2015, Super Mario Run came out in 2016.

pink coins debuted in NSMB on the ds
But the coins didn't give you keys in that game
Weren't they really based on the red coins of SMB64, that allow you to clear the level?
@@ETBX1 but they don't give you keys
But the pink coins are really based off the Key Coins from Super Mario 3D World
They give you the star, so it seems like a similar function.
