The Sith Triumvirate, really just a fractured Sith Empire with nothing left to lose. Under Revan and Malek the Sith had a vision and drive of what to do with the Galaxy, but all these new Sith care about is just mindless destruction and death, they have no grand plan beyond that, because after the Jedi Civil War, they like most of the rest of the Galaxy was broken, and they decided to bring the rest of the Galaxy down with them. That actually makes them the most dangerous incarnation of the Sith because to borrow a quote from Yu-Gi-Oh GX, "A man with no future should have nothing to fear." They were on a path of self-destruction and like a Pokemon with that move, they planned to use it to take everyone else down with them.
Before Bane Rule of Two this was the closest that the Sith were in destroying their ancient enemies the Jedi, and by almost similar means by appearances. Sidious used deceiving tactics like using the Media and the inhibitor chips within the Clones to wipe out the Jedi, while the Sith Triumvirate used assassins and bounty hunters to strike the Jedi in the shadows, and using these tactics the Jedi known for their combat abilities where ill prepared to face this challenge.

As much as I like the Dark Wars that these three Sith Lords waged against the remnant of the Jedi behind the Republic's back, nothing beats the Great Galactic War to me. Man, I wished there is a Star Wars game we can played during the time of the Great Galactic War.
Darth Nihilus is hands down my absolute favorite of the Triumvirate. His aesthetic and overwhelming power definitely marked my view of the Sith growing up.

Kreia was l Iike a living Sith Holocron. If she deemed you worthy she would share her knowledge, history and teach you lessons. If not she would be vague and rarely speak outside of cutscenes.
Well done keeping the mind control Revan was under out and putting in what most fans thought of his war. The Jedi counsel may have been right all those years ago but what would've happened had no one aided the republic. As shown, the Jedi could not have dealt with the Sith empire alone and they would've been alone with the republic destroyed or so weakened that the military force they could've sent wouldn't matter. The better move would've been to send some Jedi to at least hold the mandos back and keep the strongest in reserve for when the true darkness comes. That, or support Revan more or give him Jedi (with the accent, the old order that used dark and light) lessons.
The thing that always bothered me is that with Meetra Surrik leaving, there were no jedi left to rebuild the order. But why are they back at full strength during the next war?
Kreia at the end tells canonical Meetra that where she has to go she can't take anyone she cares about with her. And considering Kreia's prophecies of your squad mates and how they're the "True Jedi" I believe the indication is that Michal, Brianna, Mira, Visas, and MAYBE Atton (that one is unclear) rebuild the order as Meetra's final wish or command. As she goes to follow Revan's path.

BUT if you look at some game files it looks like Brianna was supposed to be able to come with a female Exile but they cut her out for the companion tree we got. If you mod her in as a female she has the same interactions, but it is clear in some dialogue it assumes you're male. However, all that aside most people consider her to have been one of the Exile's companions regardless of if you chose female or male. It doesn't make sense to cut out an important character because of gendered choice in the game. That's what I've seen between people who've played the game, myself included. So it's game mechanics versus what happened likely IN UNIVERSE. If that makes sense?
