This video will cover the resole of the Alpinestars Tech 3, Tech 7, and Tech 10 boots.
I just received my resoled Alpinestar MX 6 vented boots back from Greg and he/they did an excellent job. Since the necessary Alpinestar replacement soles are no longer available, he used a Vibram equivalent and I'm very happy with the results. The original Alpinestar sole had become hard and worn down to the point it was slippery. And because the Alpinestar sole is their unique composite, my local cobbler said a simple glue-on patch to the soles would come apart in two weeks (at least he was honest!). Very glad to have an option other than buying a new pair of boots.
The replaced sole looks fantastic! I sell motocross gear and wanted to learn if the Tech 7s & 10s had replaceable soles. I now know they do and I'll be telling my customers if they want it resoled to send it to you guys. Great video!

Nice Job i love my tech 8s and theve done some big miles out there and knowing this i will get mine re soled instead of bein a throw awy job which i hate ! Welldone you guyz

I had a set of my tech 8's done by them a couple years ago and they did a great job. They put a Sidi sole on it, which I thought was weird at first but it lasts so much longer and I cant tell the difference in traction. ill be sending in my tech 7's soon.

+Dan L Thank you for your comment. We are a repair facility that purchases the Alpinestars soles from a vendor so we do not have direct information concerning the composition of the soles. You would have to ask Alpinestars directly that question.

My tec 10 are white and wish I could clean them and make them look new again
Yes that is always a problem, we hand shampoo them but if they are discolored, that's how it is. It is not a good idea to put white color on them because the more you play with the plastic, the more it will get dried out and start cracking so the best we do is just clean them
I'm curious, the original sole was two pieces and a white base with a black insert. The new sole was a one piece all black design. Was this change a customer request or do you only offer the black replacement soles?
Alpine stars is very scarce on their souls and all we have is black it is still 2 pieces but it is all black

So can you put a Vibram sole on a TECH 8 so you can get some traction if you fall off your bike and need to pick it up in the mud?
Lucky-Rowe Vibram has a motorcross replacement sole that you can use, but I have found that the SIDI brand MX Sole is a better replacement option, but we can get both.

I have a pair of Forma Adventure boots that I use strictly as work boots for jobs like painting, landscaping, tiling, and amusement park mechanic. Would you be able to resole them and possibly insert steel toe caps?
