WW2 Private Collection Tour [2021] My WWII History Room - Machine Guns, Helmets, Uniforms and more!!

- Hello Everyone!! :D
I'm back with another video, and a pretty long one this time too!
A lot of people have been asking me to do another collection tour video.
It was a rainy day, and I decided it was time to do it!
In this video I will show you most of my WW2 collection!
I will show you stuff like like helmets, weapons, uniforms and much more!
I started collecting WW2 militaria since I was about 9 years old.
It all started when I was on a vacation in Germany with my brother and parents.
I was playing in a small stream, and I kicked the wall.. something fell out, and landed right in front of my feet.
I didn't know what it was, and asked my dad.
He told me it was a bullet from the war.. It turned out to be a live .50 Cal round, and I started to clean it.
I started searching for more in that small stream, and found a lot of interesting items, like buckles, buttons and more shell casings!
I've been collecting ever since, and I will keep doing that!
I've always been interested in History, and it will always keep me busy.
This is my collection, and I hope you enjoy the tour!! :)

This is hands down, the world's coolest room.
Yes that is very true.
Yesssss
Duh!!
Yaaaaaaaa
absolutely
Who needs to go to a museum when you can go upstairs
Yes
true
yeah right
Yea

Something that annoys me is that not all people treat original items with respect. I’m so glad that history secrets has all of this stuff
Yas
Yeah he's got all that yet he's still taking thing's out museum's for personal gain! That's wrong! He has loads and finds loads that's one thing he or no one should be doing no matter what the subject!
@@EMTBAFV what do you mean??? It’s not like he’s stealing the crap they give it to him what’s wrong with him taking stuff from there
@@campbellsoup4646 I guess it feels immoral, for me personally I’d never use a real surplus antique item for my own entertainment since the owners of them most likely have perished and the items seem sacred to me
@@Dottol- he isn’t using these items just for entertainment it’s not even for entertainment it’s to teach people about history and that’s why he also does re-enactments. And again when he finds dogs tags he try’s to look for there family and give them those tags but if there tags that are the secondary tags then he will take them cause he knows someone has already token the other tag to report that soldier dead during the war it’s not like he’s going to veterans graveyards and digging up stuff he’s JSUT going to a battle group and finding interesting stuff to teach peoppe
Imagine the spirits of the soldiers of each helmet, dogtag, uniform, and anything else just chilling in that room like: so....how's the afterlife?
Thanks to this guy they all probably meeting their teammates in there
Time to go on a History Secrets marathon again!!

49:52 I love the fact your house is haunted, that adds even more sentimental value to your collection:)
That scared the poop out of me XD
My fear though would be the ghost deciding to turn that air raid siren. Especially if it can be heard for over a mile away....
if i were there i would take that mg 42 ........... not to shoot but to smack that ghost
lmao they be like well how did you die oh and now your helmet is on display yah mine is in a box lmao

That is when he is in his natural habitat

@@StijnMolleman There's also the classic "I'm running a business here."

I'm trying my best, and I'm sure we will get there sometime!! :)

An amazing collection & your restorations on all of your helmets are correct. There are plenty of reference books on German helmets out there. Unfortunately there are plenty people out there who do not do the research. Their ignorance is what hurts the hobby in every respect. Your grandfather's paintings are fantastic! Thank you for your continued passion & your willingness to share your knowledge & your collection!
I cant even fathom the monetary value of this collection. I love history, especially military history and it makes me happy these items are in the hands of someone like this guy who is passionate about them.
He can probably make a smaller version from all the v1 rocket pieces.
I was the one asking for this in your last trench stream . Luv your vids. (Edit: I liked all the comments have a good day everyone.)
Have a pleasant day too here have a Taco 🌮
I just love the knowledge that just flows from you as you go through everything. You can definitely hear the passion you have for this time period. Thanks for sharing it will all of us!
My grandpa was born in 1937 the Netherlands and he had 3 brothers, but he was the only one that came out. And his dad was a post man and was caught by the Germans, but he was really fast on his bike so he escaped and joined the military and became a soldier. He was a general and he made it out of the war, but he died about 29 years ago, but we will never forget his loss for the good soldier/person he was.
And also maybe on the paranormal part the German who used the original tunic that you bought, probably came back for it 😅
Best Friday ever.
Spring Break starts, three hours of school and History Secrets uploads.
lucky you i had mine 2 weeks ago
My spring break doesn’t start for another 6ish days
Thank you nick its amazing ..you have kept history a live ..i love all your posts ive find your tour so intresting .. you are such a expert in this your keep history alive thank you 😊👍
You have an amazing collection. Thank you for keeping and preserving it. 3 of my Grandparents served in WWII. Thankfully they all made it back but they never spoke of it. Thank you for preserving all of this history.
I'd like to see a house tour! I think it would be very cool to show off such an historic and good looking house

You are such an amazing person! I really like your channel and I learned a lot of stuff from you. I am collecting ww1 and ww2 items since I am 12 years old and now I am 19, at the beginning when i started collecting i owned very few and not valluable items but now my collection is getting bigger and bigger and it become a very serious and valluable collection. Now I own a m1916 m1940 and m1942 german helmets, many ww1 and ww2 bayonets, medals etc. The most important thing i learned on your channel is when you really like something you will be able to get it no matter what! I really hope April 30th comes so I'll be an reenactor for America's most important history
The American Revolution
I hope we all have a great day and I hope everything goes back to the way it was
April 30 is also Adolf Hitler's suicide anniversary, 76 years ago...
The fact that that real fake SS helmet was sanded down hurts me so much, atleast its still intact
Yep, it really hurt me too.. But I'm still happy with it!

@Joe Biden Is awesome Finally someone who don’t say Holland. Thank you for that.
Because you have so many soldbuchs you should do a weekly video where you tell one story from a soldbuch. Big fan of the channel, thanks!
Awesome collection my friend. So much history in one place. Thanks for sharing!!!
Also don’t worry or waste your time with the negative comments. Those people are just jealous of your collection and what you’re doing restoring history. Keep up the great work!!!
And I thought my two book cases and closet was a lot...

This man has more of a collection on his stairs than I have in my entire life.
Excellent video! You talk about your collection the way I do. Thank you for showing us your collection. I appreciate the way you preserve history. And for the record the restorations you do are 100% historically accurate. I watch and recommend your videos to a lot of collector friends. I will do a shout out to you on my next military related video.
You have so much stuff! I really want to start collecting ww2 stuff. I like watching your videos because I love learning about the equipment! Thank you, AWESOME collection !
YAY HISTORY SECRETS! I’m literally watching this in my German class:) I also found an M35 DD kriegsmarine stahlhelm with everything except the chinstrap. It’s $325, do you think it’s a good deal?
Edit: you should check out Dragonman’s channel, he has a whole museum full of everything from the American Revolution to modern day Wars. He has other countries like nazi Germany, Britain, Russia, Iraq, Vietnam, ect
Haha, awesome! If that helmet is original and not a fake one, that's a great deal!
@@History-Secrets it is an original! Liner size 55! I really love your videos and I hope to grow my collection to be as big as yours! Oh also I didn’t check the price, but the same seller has I believe an afrikakorps luftwaffe uniform tunic and trousers (it’s kakhi) with the luftwaffe breast eagle.
I agree
Another OUTSTANDING vid from our friend and tour guide Nick, and I agree with some of the others Nick, the poltergeist in the house only brings the tour up to a whole new level. Keep up the good work and I can't wait for you to be out detecting again. Rick
