You already know that I like all of your videos. This one really had mix of your talents of sound mixing, drone shots and ground shots, not lost was the voice overs.. Thanks for sharing 👍. Happy subscriber 😊! I like Mike.
Very cool video Mike. I was wondering, since their planter is on tracks I'm a little surprised that they don't have a tracked tractor pulling it. Do you have any idea why they don't. Just curious. Great footage and with the drone as well.😊👍🏻
We have that same steiger for tillage work and youd be surprised how light that tractor is per sq. In. When its weighted like it is. I dont think i see front weights, and if it doesnt have wheel weights, its awesome for this job at way less cost than tracks. Just my guess.
Don't know for sure but I'd say the biggest reason for tracks on the planter is weight distribution. The center of the planter is the heaviest with the hitch and bulk seed tanks. I know once I was out in the field with a farm years ago with a big 60 foot planter and folded it all up and the center transport wheels sunk into the ground so deep that the planter units were dragging in transport. The tractor never sank in and actually made it up on the road. 5 hours later and an excavator, bulldozer and a big wrecker the planter was out of the field. With tracks I don't think this would have ever happened.
Well, in this CASE...
...
Okay, okay! You're right!
This is getting old... 😉
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻

I imagine that planting on an angle to the corn rows also helps smooth the field a bit for the combine in the fall.
Hello! Fine Red set-up doing some acres...
I really like the steigers👍😉
Nice video👍
Great video 👍 love the drone footage as well , thanks Mike 👍
Great video great drone footage
Another great video and information with it.Be thankful for your talents and skills to bring all this to us.God bless you all.
Seen them planting outside of ridgville Indiana couple weeks ago it's a beast for sure
Great vídeo Mike.
I’d really like a wavey no-till cutter in front. And cast iron closing wheels. 👍
Great to see a Steiger on wheels.. tracks seem to be over taking wheels, but there's something about a big steiger on big tyres
LOL That's the same thing I always post.
Good video.
Awesome video
That's a nice setup. We don't see many red tractors in Ga. No dealers and you don't see fendt or versatile at all
That planter needs to be half as wide again, - 54 rows.
