Why on earth would you use a specialty drywall anchor (paid for one 8mm anchor as much as a box of regular 8mm Fischer) for concrete. This is not a good example of versatility. The specialty anchor is worth it because it saves time.
@afandou1966 > Why on earth would you use a specialty drywall anchor (paid for one > 8mm anchor as much as a box of regular 8mm Fischer) for concrete. Because you can charge it to the client and it saves you having to carry two types of plug, keep track of stock levels of two types of plug, replenish two types of plug...
The Fischer DuoTec look pretty rad. I'd also love to hear your take on GeeFix, BladeFixers and WallClaw anchors. The third are now my go-to for general household loads.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know a way to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any help you can offer me!
Only available in the UK apparently. And either there are errors in the video, or the version they describe no longer exists (there are currently two metric sizes, and the smaller one doesn't have any metal like shown in the video)
because they are pro. but they will find their way to DIY eventualy, these plugs are amazing, i always recommend these for rental companies that do maintance, they absolutely love these plugs👍
@@eventhorizon2873 I have to wonder how many people hire a contractor to hank a hook on their wall? I don't know how much they cost, maybe out of the price range of the average homeowner.
Would it be stronger with the plug going vertical rather than horizontal?
Shouldn't matter if its tight enough
Vertical would be stronger
This presupposes that you have enough space behind the drywall for the anchor to turn, which is its major drawback...

If this product is so good, why can't I find it in a hardware store?
It's so good, they're permanently sold out... 😏😏😏
