Should have a caution about plugging a motor into a 3 phase outlet and having the right rotation. Most of our 3 phase outlets at work are for motors. Unfortunately there is no standardization of power leg phasing - one usually just has to plug the motor in and see if it rotates the right way. If not, then two of the legs - any two - have to be switched around.
personally, I would have double tapped the ground wire on the outlet first, then tied it to the ground strap on the box.... but in reality, I would have used a metal box to start with....
where is the video showing the connections in the electrical panel

Most pros carry a phase rotation meter.
Good video, excellent information!👍👍👍👍👍
Whats with the leopard print 1/2" EMT?
This guy’s look and demeanor are just adorable! Good video.. .......I wonder what the S stands for 🤔
So for 208V, we don't need a neutral, right?
If it’s a high leg then yes
This man has the personality of a cold fish
And how about that tongue action? 😂
is this a standard plug for the USa and Canada
Thanks sr.🙏

x=red, y=black, z=blue
Where's the 208v ?
I said the same... for video purposes he should have checked voltage phase to phase..
Where's the hot leg..??
To understand that you need to go watch a video on 208 three phase wye wiring.
Is it really "live", why not shut the power to that point?
He would’ve blown up his pliers if they were hot or live 😂
Why is he grounding that "NON. METALLIC BOX"
He said while it was not needed, he was showing how to do it for metal boxes.
Wasim
360 volts, 3 line & a ground
It's three phase wye wiring....it's 208.
