This is the first time I've heard chvrches and I'm impressed. I'm surprised to see people think the lead's voice is flat or isn't good enough for live music. I think she sang very well considering the loudness of the backing. I really enjoyed the subtle emotion in her singing. It is very refreshing to her a female singing notes conventionally in modern music. Too many artists have picked up what I've termed "Leona Lewis" syndrome where every note is elongated and made multi-tonal. It sounds awful in my opinion. I'll definitely be listening to more music from this band, great stuff.
Aah, i remember discovering ''Recover'' 3 years ago. This song still plays on repeat when I'm feeling down. Really happy that they've gotten the attention of more people. Can't wait for more!
+Matthew Schmit I'll see them in SF for the first time in a couple weeks. Really nice stuff. Love that big banging analog synth sound. They must be doing a US tour so check out their itinerary.
+will nelson *Maple Wood. If only Maple Grove had a concert venue that they could play at... But don't go to Maple Grove because you'll be on the wrong side of the cities.
I remember seeing earlier live performances and Lauren seemed so shy and her voice was underwhelming. This is much better. I am glad she had improved her stage presence. Depending on venue and pricing, I would definitely like to see them live when they tour for their inevitable sophomore album :)
Another excellent performance by the group Chvrches. Her face makeup made her look like a Voodoo doctor and very appropriate for Halloween. Too bad they didn't sing their newer song Dead Air but they were singing it by November and that song is a hit. Had Martin and Ian dressed up we would had seen Lauren as Princess Leia so that is a shame.
to all the hyper-critical bufoons, they are now playing all over the world, their last shows in 2016 were - radio city nyc, terminal 5 grand central nyc, and echo arena Washington dc. they have just started their third album - as the old saying goes = those who can do, those who cant criticise!
Just great! Love them! I hope they're coming to Germany soon again. Maybe for their 2nd Album (tour). Last time they were here is almost 2 years ago for their "Introducing Tour".
Why are her vocals mixed so dry? I have to assume that Chvrches have their own front-of-house sound person. She has a beautiful voice, but if you put it all the way up front with no reverb or compression or anything of course people are going to think she doesn't.
Tengo poco que conoci el grupo... enero exactamente y pues woo 2019... lo mejor que me a dado a sido conocer la música de Chvrches! Y este concierto lo ame! Me hace conocer mas su primer álbum 💀😎
Man, CHVRCHES are so overhated. Sure they may not be profound, but I don't think that matters, they make such beautiful and sonically bombastic, potent music.
Nice show! I wish they'd gotten better shots of the gear/setup the guys were playing, but I don't suppose that would have been feasible with the lighting and blocking and whatnot.
Their gear includes Moog Voyager, Juno 106, and Prophet '08 synths, and a Maschine sampler. Iain runs his bass and guitar thru Axe-FX II. They also run Ableton Live controlled via the iPad, but they make a point of actually playing their instruments onstage as much as possible.
Sam Pendleton if ever you're trying to figure what equipment an artist uses, there's a chance it might be on a website called Equipboard, check it out if you want
Just come across this, Brill live set ,sound and vision 10/10 and hate to say this but being of elderly years - awesome dad dancing music, in private of course-well unless I want to embarrass my daughters etc
+Xam271 41 here and those bands even predate my time, but i love all that old school synthpop. there's a fantastic documentary here on youtube called synth britania infyou're a big fan of all that
Finally! I waited for this for some weeks :D
boooaa mlk!!!!! ♥
This needs to be the top comment. Thanks.
+Rogelio Rios Ruiz YOU THE REAL MVP

Yes, me too.... leasing in 2023
Lauren Mayberry is wonderful. I think CHVRCHES are so overhated.
today its live concert auto-tune and more horrible stuff.
I know it is quite off topic but do anyone know a good website to watch newly released tv shows online?
@@dakotastephen5273 i think here on youtube its best. Just try "chvrches live"
i kind of just discovered them accidently and i LOVE them and now i just found out they played show in my city YESTERDAY WHY
Aah, i remember discovering ''Recover'' 3 years ago. This song still plays on repeat when I'm feeling down.
Really happy that they've gotten the attention of more people.
Can't wait for more!
That was one of the sickest intros I've ever seen....
Best KISS show I've ever watched!
Chvrvhes first album is so, so, soooooo goooooood and underrated. One of the best rock albums ever, IMO
Their album is not rock at all, The Bones of What You Believe has synthpop and electronica influences than anything else.
Beautifully shot. Really captures the feeling of being there. GREAT audio as well. Nice work. Thanks for posting.
I just came... These guys are AWESOME... My top 10 has not been crossed in years, in the last 4 years, Editors, and now Chvrches... Love these guys.
Her vocals are so damn clear... just amazing. Excellent mic'ing, too...
Wow just the opening makes me want to go to a show. Such a great setup!
+Matthew Schmit I'll see them in SF for the first time in a couple weeks. Really nice stuff. Love that big banging analog synth sound. They must be doing a US tour so check out their itinerary.
If they come to mn i must go see them !
+Matthew Schmit next Saturday at the MYTH in maple grove
+will nelson Don't "myth" it! (sorry!)

Yeah, in 2020 con todos los conciertos, las leyendas nunca mueren
Shes gotten better at performing, she used to be real shy and quiet while singing.
Go'el Yeah, she kills it here.
meh... she needs to dance more
Yeah she needs to dance more to entertain you like a fucking puppet
Whoa sorry. I need to cool it.
There's a backing track on this.

good stuff; hearing the crowd during the credits was a great addition :D

This is the most amazing piece of art I have ever came across.
We sink started it all for me. Will never forget winning D1 on FIFA 14 and going back to the menus and hearing that banger
Fifa 14 + We Sink = Such great memories. Nostalgic feelings
mother we share for me
Martin dancing (on Under The Tide) is priceless!!! Love it.
Lauren de catrina. La cultura y tradiciones mexicanas llegando a lugares impensables.
Por desgracia acorde a lo que dice, no creo que supiera de qué se trataba ese maquillaje :S
Así es...
Nauj Solrac better go tell those Norwegian death metal bands that painting their faces like skulls is cultural appropriation too, friend.
Nauj Solrac es muy genérico pintarse la cara así, no deberíamos sentirnos aludidos por eso
Yeah to each their own. Personally, I find her voice to be MAGNIFICENT both live and in studio! This is near perfect to me, groov-tastic jams.
Amazing job capturing the sound.
love the face paint!
I love how his is still one of the top search results to "Chvrches Full Concert"!!!
I'm in love with this performance
Can't wait to see them live in November. So brilliant.
Just great! Love them! I hope they're coming to Germany soon again. Maybe for their 2nd Album (tour). Last time they were here is almost 2 years ago for their "Introducing Tour".
They're awesome. Can't wait to hear their second album!
She's unbelievable!
Haha this is still my favorite album of theirs and I wish I could have gotten to see them perform it :(
They should play Strong Hand in their playlist. (it should have been on the album)
Chvrches superb as always and Lauren such a stunning voice and so cute too
So lush, i like it. i like it a lot! heard of them can't say i know one song but enjoyed every minute.

Martin and Ian are absolutely awesome
Going to see them perform at Bluesfest Here in Orleans, Ottawa, Canada. so excited.
So awesome. Thanks for posting this!
Wow ! This show is ICONIC for the beginning era ..
Great show.I love their music and her voice
Muse covered their song Lies, so I'm checking them out and even their live set up reminds me of Muse. Also that first song, it's from a Fifa game :D
Yes i love fifa soundtrack
I wish I had found this sooner. It's awesome!
It's now 2017 and Chvrches is stronger than ever. This show was amazing, though.
I wish I was there....the energy is incredible. Yes I'm from the hood...but I will never deny good music. This is an amazing band....bottomline.
hell yeah....saw them in april..and wow their presence is amazing...especially lauren's and martin...they are amazing
I really like the stage setup, very retro and 80's like, it fits their music. I am interested to see what they can deliver for their next Album.
psst the editor forgot about the black bars at 48:53
awesome video
Well done Chvrches. Enjoyable set!
Why are her vocals mixed so dry? I have to assume that Chvrches have their own front-of-house sound person. She has a beautiful voice, but if you put it all the way up front with no reverb or compression or anything of course people are going to think she doesn't.
I saw them live in Fort Collins, Colorado just awesome. I hope to see them when they return to Colorado hopefully at Red Rocks.
The last song is excellent!!!
mexican calaca rules!
a huevo :)
Yeah!! Saludos desde México
THAT WAS PERFECTION. Where's the grammy nominations ?!?!?!?
You just pinpointed why I don't watch the grammys. lol
rodrigosalasja grammies are a joke and a boring band like this wouldnt get a nom anyways
+rodrigosalasja kanye west should have jumped up on stage and interrupted taylor swift on behalf of chvrches this year
Somehow the makeup fits the vibe, awesome!
Thanks for uploading!
I'd love to go to one of their shows!
This production is a play over and over.. Is there a DVD for purchase???!
One of their best lives.
Tengo poco que conoci el grupo... enero exactamente y pues woo
2019... lo mejor que me a dado a sido conocer la música de Chvrches! Y este concierto lo ame! Me hace conocer mas su primer álbum 💀😎
Holy shit someone better call Rick Grimes cos this crowd is dead as FUCK!!!!
+Dave “VodkaPot” McGarry thats the pretentious pitchfork worshipers for you. Dancing isn't ironic enough for them.
+Randomme Naminus have you not ever been to a concert lmao
maybe if they didn't wait 'til last to play their 'mother' song.
Thanks god for this group..... love it...great Music....best performance
Man, CHVRCHES are so overhated. Sure they may not be profound, but I don't think that matters, they make such beautiful and sonically bombastic, potent music.
This band is great
CHVRCHES make me feel like a free teen again, standing up on a car with my arms out, feeling free.
great comment
omg what an amazing set!!!
Nice show! I wish they'd gotten better shots of the gear/setup the guys were playing, but I don't suppose that would have been feasible with the lighting and blocking and whatnot.
A lot of their gear is actually backstage now with the stuff up front controlling it.

Sad they didn't play Lungs :(
Why is Tether so underrated
Roberto Exactly my point!
One of my favorites!!
Me to. TETHER is WONDERFUL
Cause its slow and sorta boring?
Gary Numan, Alphaville, Ultravox, Art Of Noise...
+Xam271 Someone is as old as me!
bgbreakdown I am 31. ^^
+Xam271 41 here and those bands even predate my time, but i love all that old school synthpop. there's a fantastic documentary here on youtube called synth britania infyou're a big fan of all that
