He has to take the next step forward in his development. If you are not getting better, you are falling behind...

Nice Summary and video, thank you. You are clear and easy to listen to and your points are well made.
One thing I agree with and noticed last year is that Tua got away from going thru his 2 to 3rd+ progressions towards to end of the season. Since we HAVE seen him be able to do this thru his career, I don't expect that trend has to continue. However, in order for him to feel comfortable in the pocket enough to go thru the progressions when the play calls for it, he has to be given more time to throw and the offense can't be all about 1 step and go to first option super quick just to avoid the rush.

Thank you for the kind words.
Totally agree. It's hard to be comfortable when you have one of the shortest times in the NFL (on average) to throw. And the team seems to be unwilling to provide him with the protection along the interior offensive line to go through his progressions (cap space, non-premium positions, etc.). So, the only way Tua can achieve this in this environment is to speed up his processing, go through his progressions faster and get rid of the ball quicker and more decisively. It doesn't seem fair, but it's the system they designed for him. That is his super-power. And that's why he's paid what he gets paid...to make the players around him better.

I’m the biggest Tua fan on planet earth. The president of Tuanon if you will but I agree with most of this. It’s clear that you actually watch film unlike these dumb talking heads out there. I genuinely believe though of all the QBs Tua has the most potential to be great simply because up until now we’ve only gotten about 50% of his actual level. Ppl forget how bad the hip injury was in college and to this day he still barely used the hip in his throws. This was also the first offseason he had where he had a QB coach to tweak his throws and give him more confidence in using that hip. By all accounts Tua has been a lot faster and twitchier in training camp and he’s making 5-6 wow throws a day because of the confidence he now has in the hip again. I believe we’ll see a Tua this year we’ve never seen before.

It would be great to see a twitchier Tua in 2024. Making dynamic plays is what separates the great from the elite. My expectations are still tempered in that department, but an improvement of any kind would be noteworthy.

Bro you are not the biggest fan of tua. Even tho i know he is the g.o.a.t. I told him to be humble. Marino was my fav QB before tua signed. Tua is more accurate than dan, quicker elite release than dan, and will never have a negative rushing yrd season. He is better than dan. Most anticipatory qb ever. Better than brees and warner…

@@gwappocapone6538 Even if he is all those things, don't you think he can get better? Is his game is flawless?
And I don't like to compare Dolphins players, but Dan Marino is in the HOF. He also had 99 consecutive starts at one point in his career.
