  • Welcome to Season 4! Our Baja Mexico #Vanlife Series. We are Wiley & Dre and in this series we take our Van, Uhuru, and our Siberian Husky, Maisha international to Baja, Mexico. This season we wanted to explore some uncharted territory in our van and cross international borders for the first time!
Today's video we take you to Bahia de los Angeles (Spanish for the bay of Angels). This was our first 'wild' camping in Baja so far. We couldn't have camped any closer to the water. Playa la Gringa was a beach located at the southern end of town with beautiful views and a marsh that invited many local birds. We finally got out the paddle boards and explored on the sea of Cortez. Dre also snorkeled. The water was a bit cold but it was too exciting to not go in.

The saguaro is not found in Baja. In Baja it's the cardón cactus. The cardón is the world's largest cactus.
    Great video. 👍

The 401 from Windsor to Toronto use to have gravel shoulders. 80mph hitting gravel caused horrific crashes.
