  • This is a short review of my 23zero walkabout 87 2.0.
We have made multiple trips with this tent and the quality is outstanding! This is my first product from 23zero and so far, I highly recommend 23zero products. Great customer service and high-quality product.

I have the 72 walkabout older version for 2 years now. Spent about 45-50 days in it and it still hold up extremely well. The only negative thing about it is the setup/tear down time. If you do winter camping, highly recommend the thermal layer that 23zero offers. We went from shivering in 30-35 degree to extremely warm the next night. The LST is way too dark to the point that we don't even want to get up.

Glad to hear yours is holding up well! My biggest sticking point is tear down and pack up. That dang zipper on the cover gets hung up constantly. I can't speak for the thermal layer as I use a diesel heater but I'm sure it helps out a ton. Agreed on the LST. While it is awesome, I have no idea when the sun comes up so I have to set an alarm so I don't sleep in too long.

@Baebon6259 The walkabout 72, does it have a flap to close the entrance from the inside, to keep the thieves from coming up while you sleep?

10/10 great tent to sleep in! Handled weather and the elements great this past weekend. The blackout technology was very nice as well. It's almost too nice!

I get my 72 tomorrow and cant wait. Almost ordered the 87, but wasnt sure if my whole family will camp as often as 3 of us.

Nice! We had a 72 (not a 23zero) with a family of 4 and we fit just fine. I'm sure you will enjoy the walkabout. It's a great tent and high quality.

What's the difference between 72 and 87 plz

@karllingus1379 I haven't seen the 72 but I'd assume the 87 is 15 inches longer and it has 2 ladders.

    Great video man!!!
Love how much room it has and for a full size rig or trailer, I don’t know why you would buy anything else if you have a family!

Nice! I hope yall enjoy it as much as we do. We find ourselves up that way from time to time. I don't think we've pushed very far north, though.

    Thank you for the video.
Can you please share which trailer you are using? I like your overall setup.

Thank you for watching! The trailer is an early 2000s safari conqueror Basecamp from South Africa. You can find them for sale from time to time in the US. Check out some of my other videos where I have been slowly adding things and upgrading old parts. Definitely more content to come in the future of it.

Do you think this tent would work for 2 adults and five children? Thanks.

If you have very small children, possibly. I probably would not recommend though. My family of 4 fit with plenty of room, maybe space for one more (5 total people). For reference, the sleeping area is about the size of a California king bed.

3 mins set up, 12 mins tear down is pretty good.

Not bad at all! I've probably got it down to a little faster tear down now. Thanks for watching!

Does it fit on a large suv
    Ford expédition
    Or same size?

    • @Buckingoffroadadventures
      @Buckingoffroadadventures  9 месяцев назад

It should fit. It's 87 inches long just make sure your dynamic and static weight limits meet you needs and can hold the tent.
