Jeremy: My wife is on the board of a wildlife rehabilitation organization and we had a discussion of the requirements to be a recognized rehabilitators. First off, you have to extensive knowledge of the species and family that is your specialty. Bird experts don't do raccoons. Second: you have to train with a mentor for an extended period of time (years). You also need to be licensed. You can't just one day say 'I'm going to be a turtle rehabber". Here's Florida law concerning operating a Wildlife rehabilitation facility: To operate a wildlife rehabilitation facility in Florida, you must submit an application and pass a state examination with minimum score of 80%. After this, a state investigator must inspect your facilities and approve that they are up to state standards. I'm guessing she would have problems with the requirements. Is she running an unauthorized turtle sanctuary? I've attended the turtle rehabilitation workshop put on by my wife's organization; and unless she's received similar training she is probably causing more damage than good. Treating injuries and shell repair is difficult and very detailed, and turtles heal very slowly. BTW Gopher Tortoises (found in Florida) are federally protected as they are a threatened species.
I suspect she isn't official, rather she has a turtle in a cage, and is using that to try and get donations from people over the 'net.
I think it's time to check the turtle lady's license.

My sister lost 8 of her fluffy butts to coyotes last week. Seven were taken in one attack. She was so depressed. She lives on a ranch and deals with death all the time, but this hit her hard. She said, “ but they were my ladies”. 😔😩😭 I shared with her your plans for a bird sanctuary, so now an unused hay shed is being converted 😌🐓🐓🐓🐓

Just some advice on your shelving, it looks great first off second you may want to anchor those to the floor. It doesn’t take a lot to pull something off the top rack and the rack starts to tip and it’s over with.

Very very beautiful...I lived like that back in the woods but as I got older my family started worrying about me and talked me into moving on a street where theirs nothing but family around me and I'm miserable 😢..I plan to find another home in the woods again b4 I pass..because I've been nothing but miserable since I moved here...let's see..you don't know what you miss until it gone...😢..Jeremy and George be safe and God be with you...❤

So that metal piece that sticking out from the shelves it's because it's supposed to be up against the wall where you secure it against the wall that way when you use the forklift all your stuff up there and pallets would not fall
