I got a wright zk61 last year and it's amazing. A Productivity machine. Love the efi engine. It makes my Toro Grandstand look like a Grandpa. Can't wait to get this.
Ed; Looking forward to the complete video of the ZK Gen 3, where we will see even more improvements to the Gen 3 than already pointed out here. Thank You for doing what you do for our community of Lawn care and landscapers, so appreciated, so thankful.
I had the pleasure of demoing the new wright gen 3 ZK 52, 61 stand on mower at Emmett Equipment in Richfield Ohio today. The sales person was a Welth of knowledge on the Wright mowers, just returning from the Wright Mfg. plant in Maryland 2 weeks ago. The office and mechanical people were so friendly and accommodating. They let me demo as long as I wanted, with a new floor model with .5 hours. I was blown away with this mower. The 820 EVO EFI engine was flawless. I mowed very high wet 8 to 10" grass and the mower never faltered, the engine never slowed or bogged. The hydraulic handeling was precise and spot on, the cut quality in high or normal manicured height grass was flawless with the new flat back deck. Not a strand was left standing and no clumping. The ride is amazing, comfortable, and very enjoyable. The attention to detail and refinement is noticeable no matter which side of the mower you looked at. The ease of maintenance is the simplest of any stand on mower I have looked at to date. I have owned Exmark, Scag, toro, ferris, In my opinion none can compare to this new Wright gen 3 ZK. We will be changing over our complete fleet over to Wright. That is the smart business move. Don't take my word for it demo one for yourselves. The proof is in the demo. One demo and you will be hooked. Hail to the King of stand on mowers
@@blessed7fold the main problem is in the deck the machine don’t vacuum any grass clomps everywhere in the costumers lawn the blade bearings I don’t change anymore because put new one only last week or two
I will say those improvements will help many people. My only complaint is these machines don’t offer front flex forks like hustler which make a huge difference. The flat back deck is a huge change that will improve this machine drastically. When I purchased my bagger within 2-3 months the paint was peeling and my bags were tearing.
Very excited about the deck changes that was main complaint on the chamfered decks when you got into the heavy dense grass they would clog up and bog leave uncut grass sounds like these new decks should keep up with the exmarks
Just got my gen 2 61ZK from ISS in Charlotte love it so far I’ve always been a Kawasaki guy but I got the big Briggs engine on my new ZK hopefully it hold up 💪💪 I love wright standers great name and equipment
@@Limitedfreedomofspeechwhat do you think about the Vanguard I’ve always been a Kawasaki guy I hear a lot of nightmares about the Briggs hopefully mine will hold up
Well, I have a 2019 and ‘20 ZK 52” with the vanguard and they have been super. Watch the oil sensors, they blow out quickly. And it’s easy to get a false low oil reading and overfill your engine. Be careful because that’s why my oil sensor blew out, but that’s better than a main seal. Some people have commented on engine bolts coming loose also so keep an eye on them. I only use BP gold or Amoco ultimate fuel. Never ever an ethanol fuel. What is a wood lean and have you seen the Wright stander intensity 36?
@@Limitedfreedomofspeech thank you very much for letting me know and I haven’t seen the 36 wright intensity I have a 36 world lawn for backyards got like 6 months ago stripes nice and all
I just wish you would use the oil guard system on all mowers. It makes some much sense to do that for us so we only have to change oil yearly or twice a year tops.
Love it but I can tell u right now the cover not going over the middle pulleys will catch on fire with leaves unfortunately I just had a zk burn up!! And I have the covers off and leaves caught fire fell into the middle part of the deck and was all over. Lucky I had full replacement so getting this gen3 next week
Did you fix or I guess change the desing on how the hydry pullies get mouted.. the little bolt always got loose not a big problem but re occurring. I put a spot of weld on the bolt to the washesr and the washer to the pully.. I have a fleet of 12zks best machine over all .. I have some with 5k hours now.. does run ecv749 kholer efi 27hp its plenty of power really more fuel efficiency.. really liked you video looks like great improvements. on an already great machine.. 👍
Amazing improvements Ed. With the flat back deck do we need the northern baffle kit? Its a big difference on my 72. 61 & 52 its not needed. But definitely on the 72.
Any difference on thick grass or wet grass clumping. I see people say both but adding baffles to me would make it seem like it would struggle more with thick or wet grass. Scag deck is very open and deals with those conditions well. Wright isn’t far behind just curious of the northern baffle closes the gap even more
It definitely closes the gap. Never scag. Just exmark and wright. My friend who has wright says he has super high lifts on his 52 zk and feels it is better than exmark
