This is my current patch I am running on my Line 6 Helix!
After our last video, I felt that the Helix was the real winner. I went out and got my self one just a couple days after posting it and have completely fallen in love with it. This video covers what drives, delays, reverbs and modulation I use to cover all playing I do on Sundays.

I use Snap/Pedal mode. I have a bunch of snapshots set up in advance for our set list. Then I'll bring in/take out individual EFX as needed. What you're doing is a lot like the way I had my old (78 lb) analog pedal board set up. I'd use a switcher to get things done a little more easily than having to "tap dance" with everything. What I like about your set up is that it's easier to make sure you have consistent gain levels.
The Helix is simply awesome for so many applications. It really makes set up easy, quick and easy on my back!

Nice vid, cool patch too. Ive recently got the Helix, primarily for small practice sessions, I use a boss ES8 switcher with the strymons, spectacular Tempus with drives etc. The Helix in worship live is becoming very realistic option for me with patches like this being available. Thanks for sharing ! Loved the blindfold test too. I’ve subscribed.
Thanks! Glad to hear the helix is becoming a more viable option for you live. The ease of not having to carry a seperate amp and board is enough of a reason for me 😂
Ethan - thank you. These are good tones. For worship I use the Preset/Snap mode and have a separate preset for each song. I converted your "More Ambient" switch to snapshots and using the snapshot capabilities to change parameters can remove one of the Plateaux reverbs from this preset. The snapshots in the new preset are Clean, Drives, Ambient, and MorAmbient.

Very nice configuration. I loaded it up and this is probably one of the first “borrowed” patches I will actually keep. Of course a few tweaks but not really that much. Great job and thanks for the freebie 👍🏼 ✝️

Thank you for video. Although I'm in a completely genre of music, I definitely like the tones of the guitar for EDM music. Sounds like helix native plugin would be a great buy!
Your reverbs are not set at 100% mix. this is creating phasing in your dry signal. I also highly recommend a preamp in the patch to bring your guitar signal up before it hits your drive section. This is a technique I learned years ago from Nigel Hendroff (and other famous guitarists) rigs.
If I were to run my verbs 100% wet, they would all sound like my “kill dry” effect - that’s literally what that effect is doing. You are thinking of having a wet/dry rig, which this is not.

Do the patches your handing out go with HX stomp?
I downloaded your patch and when it loaded I can't get any sound from it. I don't know if it's muted somewhere or what. Any ideas?
The only thing I can think of would be since the patches are saved with the volume pedal in the off position, just wiggle your volume pedal so that it registers that you want it up. I hope that helps! Other than that I can’t think of anything else it would be.
@@WeTalkTone This was it - I just toggled the starting value to 100% instead of 0 - same effect. Great patch!
I’m having some issues with the patches, I downloaded all 3 and when I switch between them the “Stomp” mode shows blank for the stomp selectors and I can’t see the stomps I have on and off, any idea how to fix it?

Thank you for those kind words! Yes I do believe it’s as easy as not adding an amp/cabinet block and running a 1/4” out to your own amp.
Thanks! I'd like to use the Helix with the 4 cables method with a midi cable to switch the amp's channels...Then I have to download your ambient patch, put it in the helix and then take of the amp and cab your patch and keep only the effects...Am I right?

I've never tried any - only the stock cabs. I've listened to comparison videos on here but have never felt that their was big enough difference to justify messing with them.
How do you get the bank switches to display the distortion and particle verb?
You have to switch it to 10 stomp mode in the global settings

@@WeTalkTone Those teles are hard to intonate, particularly the ones with the old style 2 strings per saddle. Sweet guitar though. I'm a tele player too.

Hey man, how do I switch to the Kill Dry path on the chain? It doesnt want to activate when I press Kill Dry.
The only way I can get it to work is to physically bend down and click bypass on both particle verb and the second plateaex verb.
In the settings for that particular switch, I believe you have to change its mode. I’m away from it at the moment, but I’ll try and take a look at soon and get back to you!

Which one do you recommend for a les Paul?
I think they could all be tweaked to get a nice sound, and of course it depends on what you’re going for. But, a British sound might go well with the rounder tone of a les Paul- is say give the ac30 patch a try. You may need to tweak the eq settings a bit to get it dialed in, or it might work well for you out of the gate.
