- When asked to try out the all new Acmer P2 machine, I couldn't resist. I had had the P1 and it was a great machine. After receiving the machine, it is obvious that Acmer has stepped up their game. This new machine is stronger and faster than I could have imagined.
After seeing the initial results, I can't wait to put this thing to work. More videos coming soon.

Your video is absolutely fantastic. We greatly appreciate your interest and support for ACMER.🥰
It is a good product
Great video man.
Thanks
Looks like they have a preassembled version like you got and DIY option for $100 difference.
I have seen them come both ways
Good video, your lightburn screen share starting at 15:04 is rotated 90degrees.
Yea, I had to hide a brand name is the video and missed the screen share part when I rotated it. Oops.
Great Shirt @@TheClackShack
I recently made the big mistake of purchasing a 20 watt pro Comgrow laser. I never did get the piece of crap to work. Their tech support is horrible, and the laser would work with LaserGRBL but not Lightburn! Are you F-ing kidding me? I contacted them and told them that I sent it back to Amazon and purchased a XTool D1 Pro 20 watt for double the price, but I will tell you this Xtool is one badass rig! I can cut 3mm baltic birch poywood in one pass at 400mm/min! I love it. Stay clear of the Comgrow produsts!
I have had some Comgrow machines and have had good luck. Maybe you got a bad one..
GREEEEEEEEEAT
It is a beast
I’m so jealous! I wish I could update!
Maybe you can.
@@TheClackShack Unfortunately, not anytime soon! Maybe if the D1 dies!😉
I'm buying my first engraver tonight and I have it narrowed down to this, Sculpfun S30 Ultra 22W, and the Creality Falcon 2. Any clear winners here?
Either are decent machines, The Sculpfun has a bigger work area.
It would be interesting to see a cutting comparison between this machine and the Monport M40..
Maybe soon...
Good video. Will the adapter cables for the rotary work with the x-tool ra2. Thanks
The cable appears that it would. I haven't tried it. It has the typical stepper connection on the rotary end.
Hello, which diode laser would you recommend? I’m looking at a 30w laser. Also would you rather use a diode or co2 laser. Thanks. Great videos by the way
There are lots of good machines out there. Budget, workspace and output are things to figure out what you need before buying.
Why don't you get a 40W?
Just haven't yet.. maybe one day
Thank you very much, David, for your great video. We warmly invite you and your audience to join our event and have a chance to win cash prizes, even if you don't have a laser engraver. Our event will start on September 1st(UTC), so don't miss out!😄
Thanks
Sent me the longer 30watt I will definitely use it for my small business. 😂
Go for it!
The Genmitsu LC-40 uses linear rails.
I have heard..
So does Sculpfun on their S30 series, but only on the X-axis. This Acmer is a very nice machine though..
@@jewijk yea, that's why I said they claim. I have a S30. The folks at acmer insisted,,,
Hi...good job, sir...how would you compare this in terms of cutting capabilities vs AlgoDelta 22w..would really appreciate an answear..
The 30 watt module is actually more powerful. Mechanically, they perform very similar.
@@TheClackShackThank You and Happy New Year!!
Nisei machine but I can't justify one maybe someday
It does sting to buy them.. Luckily I make money with them to get it back.
After 8 months, did this machine continue to impress you?
Yes
Are you making an interchangable jig kit for the Acmer P@ 33 Watt?
I have one made, I am in the process of getting it ready for release. Maybe later today
Great stuff! What thickness wood did you use for the testing please?
Thanks
4.6mm plywood and several others
You mentioned using a 10PSI air pump. Can you share what you are using?
It’s not a pump, I use shop air.

Hello you still use XTool D1 Pro- 20 watt? any good and bad ?
I use it at events because my enclosure is set up for it. It is a good machine but the newer ones I have have more features.
does it support replace laser modules?
That would be a question for Acmer. They send lenses with it.
I seem to have an issue when rerunning a project after homing, alignment is off any suggestions?
Check the timing linkage in the back of the machine. It is behind a cover but is there. Make sure it is tight and isn't allowing the two sides to operate independent of each other. I had to tighten mine after a couple of weeks of use.
Appreciate your videos, Alabama guy also.
Hey Brother. Anytime something has you speechless, just your wife/girlfriend for her opinion, problem solved.😎 Glad I could help.
Right on
Thanks
