I wish I would have known that I could do this myself. I was told by the dealership that it was not recommended nor a good idea to do this myself, due to programming issues with the electronics of my car. I spent in total to replace both batteries on each remote $250 dollars. I saved and subscribed to your channel. Thank you.

Thank you. My door wouldn’t unlock so I accessed the metal key inside of the fob. Then the alarm went off 😅and I got message “key fob not detected” that’s when I figured out the fob must have a dead battery. I had no idea what type battery to get or that I needed a screwdriver to pry it open.
