@@stevenbacakos well, look up an article or video about head voice vs. falsetto. Jeff Scott Soto only uses Head Voice when going into higher registers, while Graham Bonnet can actually use falsetto.

Can I just say that was one of the best interviews I ever heard. No pandering, no brownnosing. Very respectful, and you did your research. Great job, Razorfist. You are already 9 mil x infinity marks past every "news" agency out there. \m/!
***** Graham's an old guy whose not that famous at all and takes long breaks from touring to settle down with his family in a standard middle-income home, he's not a living legend to your average person.

Saw Graham Bonnet live a couple of weeks ago here in Finland and I can only say he can still sing just as well as in the 1980's... He's a GOD among the living. One of the greatest voices ever, way too underappreciated. It's hard to believe he's 69 years old. Just listen to his new music, he is amazing and is fully able to sing all that live.

I'm a fan of metal and Razorfist's videos have expanded my knowledge of metal vastly and brought me into contact with bands I wouldn't have otherwise listened to. Great stuff.
It would be fantastic if this would not be the last of these, we need more interviews with metal legends. Also, Graham seems like an awesome guy and I can't wait to hear him sing this December.
You DO give the internet, real and cool content. Not ass-kissing, just sharing my humble opinion. Amazing interview! SO refreshing to hear someone who KNOWS and CARES, interviewing a SOMEBODY instead of half-assing until it hurts. Cheers! (And yes, I'm seeing this in 2020. So what?)
MUCH respect to Rageaholic!! to not only interview this legend...but the best fucking interview ive ever heard that someone did on Mr. Graham Bonnet!!! I just found this site few days ago and love all the Music Mythos on my favorite bands. My favorite go to site on RUclips. ITs great to see Mr Bonnet still rocking in 2017. I first heard of him around 83/84 probably thru the Metal record store id visit couple times a week and I picked up the live album LIVE SENTENCE.. Even though I was a fan of Rainbow (dio era) ..the Down to Earth album totally passed me by and didn't hear that till 85..definatlely favorite Rainbow album...also a big MSG fan..and Schenkers best album..?....ASSUALT ATTACK, w/ Bonnet on vocals. What a voice.
My favourite thing is just how passionate you seem about the music you are talking about - and that really comes through in this interview. Hope to see you do more in this vein!
According to David Coverdale there were serious discussions between himself and Ritchie Blackmore after Jon Lord's death about reforming MK3/4 era Deep Purple for a short tour but the project fell through due to prior commitments on the part of all involved. There was one thing that did come out of it for coverdale: it got him interested in re-listening to his old deep purple material and inspired him to re-imagine the material for the purple album.
Setsotama That's the plan behind the whole 'AfterShock' concept. After doing a Mythos, touching base with the artists and getting their side of the story.
***** that would be a great concept to follow, who knows where that will take the series as a whole, plus it'll give us some amazing content for days to come.
My second time to listen to this interview. You did a great job man. Just saw Graham in San Antonio with Schenker and at 70 years old he still kills it. Great singer.
So cool to hear the mention of him playing with Schenker again. Given whats happened since with the whole Schenker Fest tour, I still personally feel that he was the BEST vocalist with MSG...... To be honest I may be a little biased as Bonnet has been my favourite male vocalist ever since the Rainbow days and Schenker has been my number 1 guitar player since around 78..... So cool to hear him speak so candidly about what happened in his career... Kudos Rageaholic for getting the interview in the first place and EXTRA kudos for just being the cool guy that you are. Love the channel!!
Very cool Razorfist!! One of my favorite bands after Dokken!! I'm glad to see Alcatrazz is getting the attention they always deserved. Great stuff man like always! 😎🤘
Thanks for a fantastic interview, Razor! It's nice to hear a more thorough interview with the wonderful Graham Bonnet. I've been a big fan of his work, for years. I always thought there was a little of the Queen mentality, behind his music: Never afraid to explore and experiment with different genres. Great vocalist; great guy. Speaking of Queen, if it's at all possible - I would love to hear a similar in-depth interview with any of the original Queen members. I'd love to hear from John Deacon, in particular. He's an incredible (underrated) bassist and songwriter, yet he remains elusive. I'd love to hear his side of the story. Thanks again, Razor. I look forward to more interviews in the future!
Great interview, I love Graham's music and listening to him talk in just as engaging to me. You might say he's a very... down to earth kind of guy. (I'm sorry) And I'm also a little disappointed to hear about the troubles behind Dangerous Games and that Graham doesn't seem to like it much at all. It's my favourite Alcatrazz album and I'm sorry I can't share my enthusiasm with him.

Re-listening to this interview as news came out Graham had to cut a show short due to a chest infection & may even have some cancelled shows. Hopefully he won't & will be back in good health soon.
Wow Razor, it seems not even 5 years ago you were making me feel bad for liking Call of Duty. Now you're rubbing elbows with the greats. Where have the years gone?
