Thank you for this, as a new Steve player I struggle with opening people up. The breakdown is amazing and you explained it on a level I can actually understand and use immediately. I just won 5 back to back matches focusing on the 121 and 21 poke strategies you talked about. Please make more of these!
You, CZR, Soul XCV are my favorite to watch for educational purposes. Clean content and very educational. Im a legacy Steve player and just hit Kishin, and these tips are just reminders to me to use the tools he has efficiently. Looking forward to more!
I’m always seeing you With Shin and Gohan. Yall are doing the community justice. Appreciate the breakdown and details. Despite the challenge of trying to master Steve im all for it and you’re making the process easier. I wanna start competing more and traveling eventually. Good looks Seager
Comments like this are why I do it. If I can make someone’s journey of learning Steve 1% easier its job well done for me. Glad you enjoyed the video bro 🥊
@@SEAGERRTK I’m barely purple ranks and I’m surprised I made it this far but it’s day two and this shit is slowly starting to make sense. I was fighting a Lee and would use 2,1 into FLK then block to see his reaction. He keep hitting me with lows so after realizing that I used 2,1 into FLK then countered with FLK 2. I know I’m just a random subscriber but I’m so damn thankful for this bro you have no idea. You ever think about uploading your own play and analyzing for us what moves you use and why against different character? Sorry for the paragraph brotha 😅
9:51 weird question maybe but how do u prevent yourself from not playing Tekken alone. For a scenario like this if I see him whiff after I used the low and notice how he whiffed and it’s hard for me to not adapt for them. I’d think (ah he wouldn’t do that again cuz he notice how hard he whiffed) how do u prevent yourself from not playing by interactions
You’re giving your opponent too much respect for no reason. If he whiffs you should try to make the adjustment until he punishes you for it. You have to assume he’ll do it again cos he’s trying to win. Again go off information see how he reacts to being out in crouch a few times and go from there
