Almost everyone who has experience with the Orlando theme park crowds end up saying they prefer Disneyland over Disney World for the same reasons you gave: chill vibes, low wait times, no crowds, etc. I grew up going to Disneyland every year. Been to Orlando, but not to the theme parks. Good for that older man for finding his happy place. Too bad most people never find theirs.
Disneyland park is without a doubt my favourite castle park! But I do still love Orlando, Epcot & animal kingdom are my favourite theme parks. But Disneyland definitely beats Magic Kingdom for me, MK is hectic 🤣’ The older man, was so so lovely, it was great to chat to him and he was just so at peace & gave us some good wise words.
