@@kimberlys_journey not this year sadly, have New York booked but still getting the Disney fix via Disneyland Paris 🥰 Hoping for April next year as an extension to our trip to Vegas (where we’re getting married) just need to do the planning, but I’m putting off as I don’t know where to start!!

So the final one of our Iceland vlogs ended a bit abruptly because of that and we didn’t round the vlog of as I was crying the entire time at the airport lol, i can’t remember exactly which vlog we talk about it in as it was after the trip. Long story short, Avis accused of damaging the rental car (the dent was already on the car) but we arrived during a literal snow blizzard and didn’t take any photos as the weather was too bad. When we returned the car, they added a £3000 charge to my credit card for the damage, the dent was an inch long, even if we had caused the damage I have no idea where they got their costing from! Then to make matters worse, when we got home about a month later they attempted to take a further £1000 from my credit card. My bank reversed the second charge but we didn’t get anywhere with the first charge. I spoke to quite a few people who all had similar things happen to them with Avis. I would never ever use them again even if they offered me a car for free

I did have a really good night, but to be honest no I don’t think it’s worth the cost! And it’s not something we would do every year! Glad we done it, as my niece was at the perfect age and we wanted her to experience it at least ones if I was going and not doing the Disney parks, I would say it’s worth it to pay for the night and to get that little Disney fix. As it is a really fun night, but it’s still busy in there, with not the lowest wait times. So we didn’t focus on doing many rides, as we could do them during the day! But for a family especially if you have kids, you would be spending over £500 for 1 night and if you have the 14 day passes too! I think it’s a bit excessive! Especially as they don’t seem to keep the crowds low anymore!

@ totally agree, have seen and heard from vlogs that for adults, Jollywood nights at Hollywood studios is really good. Maybe one to keep in mind if you ever go in November/December.

We usually book our car hire through Alamo, as spouses drive for free and you don’t need to add an extra driver and we like that you can skip the counter at the airport! We normally book direct through Alamo and I look online for a discount code, or we book through Discount Florida Car Hire, however I would recommend emailing them, as the offline price is cheaper than their website! Xx

Agree, we love a day at typhoon lagoon! It’s my favourite! Neither of us have been to blizzard beach in years! We used to go in October, and it was also on the years when it was blizzard beach’s turn to be closed for winter! And recently when we have been, it’s always closed, as it only opens from November at the moment! I would love to go back there though!

This is very true all these vloggers now seem to sing their words and overuse the word literally.. Some vloggers just don't have strong personalities so they end up all sounding the same. I don't think you meant to offend her I'm sure she's a lovely person but the singing of words definitely annoying to listen to.

I think there might be two locations in the Orlando area (I could be wrong, but think there is a 2nd location closer to Orlando city. Oooo coconut mocha sounds amazing, I will have to try that when we go back! Is there one in vegas too? I didn’t know that!! Where in vegas? We love the mini golf! They are so much fun! X

@@kimberlys_journey oh yeah, there are tons of Dutch Bros in Vegas, they're all over the city, maybe not like Starbucks and not on the strip but out in the city they're scattered around! That was the first place I ever had it. I just remembered the coconut mocha is called the Cocomo ☺ I like to get coconut creamervfor my cold brew at home, I think they even have a sugar free one at publix (pubix 😅) next time you guys are around! Smells like sun screen but it tastes divine!

I really liked them! I am definitely a Funyuns fan!

Honest opinion, I didn’t love the rooms. The overall resort was ok, but the rooms were very dated and the bathroom was quite grubby, our shower kept flooding & leaking. It wasn’t an awful hotel, but it wouldn’t be a first choice to stay there again. If it was a really good price, then yes I would. But honestly I think you can better for a similar price or slightly more!

It was AWFUL! When she came up to me I wanted the ground to swallow me lol! Also, editing this vlog back, I could quite clearly see the rip, it was bad. How Daniel didn’t notice I’ll never know 🤣

Yes lol, we did film every day. Im debating uploading two a week though, when I get time to edit that many! As I work full time so it’s hard trying to fit everything in! We also might put two days together in one vlog near the end of the trip, as some days we didn’t film as much!

No we weren’t able to get an upgrade on the Disney tickets, they said it’s to do with the special pricing deal we already get and the system doesn’t allow them to upgrade the UK tickets. As DVC members you do have access to the sorcerer annual pass, which is something we might get before our next trip! Xx

@kimberlys_journey thank you. I asked a cast member on the app if I could upgrade a 14 day UK ticket (specifically mentioned it would be a UK ticket) and he said yes. I asked because I'd seen mixed experiences so if he is wrong that's pretty poor of Disney to be giving out wrong information on the app). I'm so excited to see your first DVC stay next year. We've been looking at renting points too for next year so would love to see a vlog on that and DVC buying too xx

@@jenzb145yeah I’ve heard a lot of stories like that tbh, I genuinely think some of the cast members don’t know. Like for instance when we softened up to DVC, once it had all gone through, in the Disney app it showed that me and Daniel could upgrade our tickets, when we clicked through to try and complete it, it wouldn’t let the transaction go through. So I think that’s why Disney cast members get it wrong, it looks like it’s possible but when you try to finalise the transaction it doesn’t let you 😢. Renting points through Dave’s DVC rentals was so easy, it was just like completing a transaction for regular hotel booking, it was so easy. They deal with speaking to the owners on your behalf, so there isn’t anything for you to do! It was so straight forward! When we do our stay next year I’ll show more of the DVC side of things ❤ xx
