Nice video, I just had one question. In previous games I was always told that element is typically best for DB’s, did something happen in rise to make raw and status more viable, or has it always been pretty viable and I just wasn’t paying enough attention?
That's what the 2nd Part of the Dual Blade Builds is for 😄 In MHRise Raw & Element are on pretty equal footing. That's because Element is kinda "weak" this time around, wich allowed Raw be equal or in some cases better for Dual Blades. Previously it was almost entirely Elemental Meta for Dual Blades. So right now the most efficient choice is always based on the monsters weaknesses & weakspots to determain wether you should use Raw or Element. (It's not a big difference in most cases though, so i wouldnt worry about it too much)
This is the build I use. Night Wings(Rampage Skill Attack Boost 3), Kaiser Crown, Vailk Mail S, Valstrax Braces, Anjanth Coil S and Anjanth Greaves S. My Tailsman has 1 level 2 slot with the skills Critcal Boost lv. 2 and Earplugs Lv. 2 With all the decorations added in the skills my build uses are: Attack Boost Lv.4, Critical Eye Lv.3, Critical Boost Lv.3, Weakness Exploit Lv. 3, Protective Polish Lv.3, Marathon Runner Lv. 3, Speed Sharpening Lv. 3, Earplugs Lv. 2, Flinch Free Lv. 1 and Dargonheart Lv. 1
Short question: Why would you choose Sharpness Type 1 over attack or affinity boost? The base sharpness seems a lot better than the type and Sharpness 1 doesn't increase damage. I see that with a lot of your rampage weapon sets
All questions are welcome! ^_^ Sharpness Type 1 Does increase the damage! It's in an indirect way. Every Level of Sharpness (Green/Blue/White etc.) has a damage modifier. Sharpness Type 1 gives us easy access to White Sharpness, wich has the highest damage modifier we have access to in Rise. Using this as an example Sharpness Type 1 + using 1 Lv Handicraft to reach white (only Type 1 can reach white with just 1x Lv) results in a Damage increase that is more than 20 Attack higher than using the attack boost in that slot. Making it by far the highest damage increase possible for almost every Rampage Weapon Build. Especially if you add skills to maintain your Sharpness anyway.
@@cogahan Yup, correct 👍 Sharpness Type 1 = You only need 1 level of Handicraft to get white sharpness. Damage Multipliers from Sharpness: Green - ATK x 1.05 Blue - ATK x 1.20 White - ATK x 1.32

Good to hear you're enjoying the game so much ^_^ some of the higher rarity (red) armor parts wont be available for you yet, but you should be able to make even those very soon! 👍 There are a few very high value armor parts that you can make early into Hr 7. But i wont spoil it for you :) (if you wanna know wich, let me know and i'll list em for you)
The Layered Armor i'm using with the first Build is: - Fox Mask - Shell studdet - Shell studdet - Remobra Belt - Shell studdet It's one of my favourites ^_^
Sadly the answer to that is no, not in most cases. The only time razor sharp will be able to replace or keep up with protective polish is if you already have a large amount of the sharpness you want to keep (Valstrax weapons for example). That said, it can still be a very good option if for example the amount of white & Blue sharpness together is alot and using your razor sharp talisman allows you to add a bunch of DMG skills (or other stuff you like)
This super dope. Damage and utility while being fun and comfy, I know what i'm working towards now. Although I don't see any bowgun builds. Is there a reason?
Glad you're enjoying the content! ^_^ The only reason Bowguns & Lance are missing is due to me not having the time to make them back then😄as these multi Build videos take quite a long time to make. And with quite a few Bowgun Builds floating around YT already the request for them wasnt as high. So i prioritized other weapon types first since we were getting closer & closer to Sunbreak.
Any thoughts on my build that focuses on max evade window/extender? And maybe what weapon i should use with that kind of build. I love it bc i RARELY get hit but idk which weapon to use
That's gonna be kinda hard to say without knowing wich weapons you are most comfertable with, and what the rest of the skills are on that particular build (will be easier to say wich weapon type fits well with more info on the build). But in general evade extender & evade window together have great usage value on Switch Axe, Dual Blades, and Hunting Horns inparticular. Evade Window works great on any weapon if your playstyle is dodge/evade heavy. Evade Extender can be a bit more situational. Depending on the weapon it can make repositioning for continuos hits a bit tricky.
Raging Claws are a ton of fun and even in multiplayer hunts you can get the paralyze to proc fairly often, depending on the monster. Been running a similar build spamming HR Great Izuchi trying to get a large gold crown and both solo and in multiplayer this will usually paralyze it 3-4 times in about as many minutes as the hunt generally takes. I want to see a full team of DB users, each with a different status build take on a hunt. Did the above hunt with a DB user with a sleep build last night and between sleep and para we absolutely annihilated the monster...thing never got out of its starting spawn area. Oh, should point out that a blast build is very useful for rampages that have the "inflict status ailment" objective as each blast that goes off counts as a status ailment...which a DB blast build can complete very quickly.
Funny enough the rotating of Para & Sleep used to be a HUGE thing back in the older MH titles. Specifically for endgame Charm/Talisman Hunts and other stuff, aswell as crown hunting. You hit the nail on the head 😄 Yup, Blast on DB, SnS or Bow is highly effective for rampage objective clears 👌
Did you use only 2 levels of para atk on that Pawnisher build because you perhaps use the dango specialist food boost? If not, what food combos do you go for?
Para is at Lv 2 because Lv 3 would be overkill (not very efficient). We also cant craft Jewels for Paralysis Attack yet in Rise, and the other parts with paralysis attack also arent very efficient for DB. Hope we can craft the Jewels for it inSunbreak 👌
@@YokaiNox Oh no you definetively can, though I agree that maybe it is overkill, yeah. The Paralyzer Jewel is a 2 piece. I play on the PC version. There were some updates on the game lately, maybe it is something new "Omniplegia Sac x 3 Elder Dragon Bone x 3 Golden Sludge x 2 Lazurite Jewel x 5"
@@dedino5452 Yup lol it literally just got addet into the game a few days ago 😄👍 Sadly as of right now it doesnt change anything for that particular Build tho. Going for Lv 3 will come in handy once we get Sunbreak and the monsters resitances to Status go up due to Master Rank parameters. For High Rank it yields very little benefit right now on DB, over the course of a hunt.
It's a very good Chest Piece that i would choose for alot of Builds if i dont need/want an extra Lv 1 Slot from the Vaik Mail. In this case i actually use both. When hunting more casually i run the Azure Age Haori, when i do any of the super Monster events, i'll go for Vaik. Having Lv 1 Stun resistance seems miniscule, but when fighting something that can easily kill us with 1-2 hits, having the Stun Duration reduced by 60% for using a single Level of stun res has super high value. If you personally find more value in having ur dodges cost 20% less stamina (hardly noticable in fight), then defenitely go for Azure Age.
Cool video! I'm gonna use the Rampage DBs and the Dangos a bit more! :) One of my favorite DB builds has Bubbly Dance and Evade Extender both maxed out with Constitution at lvl 4 or 5 so that I can dash around insanely fast and far in normal 'Demon Mode'. It is THAT much fun. (I use a Bubbly Dance +3 (2)(2) talisman)
That does sound like a hell of alotta fun! :D I used to play DB with Bubbly Dance alot in past games aswell. Defenitely something i'm looking to do again soon 😁👌🏽
@@YokaiNox I can recommend the chest armor piece of the Azure set because it provides you with 4 level two skill points and a fairly high defense stat just in case that Apex gets in a stray hit :^)

Dober waist is not a bad choice, but it's literally just a worse Version of the Anjanath waist 😅. Both have ATK Boost Lv 2 & a Lv2 Slot. But the Anjanath waist has 2 additional Lv1 Slots & more Defense.
Hey man 🖐For my Version you mean ? I'm using the exact same Decos/Jewels as for the regular version. So i'm getting the protective polish from those (Sharp Jewel). I do have a decent protective polish Talisman, but using Jewels was more effective Slot wise here :)
Thanks 👍🏽 It's a very early Decoration. You just unlock it by progressing through the game and hunting new monsters. These are the materials you need for it: - Toxin Sac x 1 - Pukei-Pukei Scale+ x 2 - Aquaglow Jewel x 2
You can change the Design of Rampage Weapons to look like any other Weapon of that Type. You need to go to the Smithy -> Ramp-Up Weapons -> Layered Rampage Weapons -> Select what you want 👍🏽
Sorry bout the delayed reply, was on holliday^^ Check the bottom of the screen when you're at the blacksmith. You can press a button to switch the Decoration Display from Deco Name, to Deco Skill.
In theory that's what it should be ^^ But depending on how efficient the user is Protective polish will be the better choice, since most players wont be able to keep Arc Demon mode up 100% of the time. Even with over 700 DB hunts i still resort to protective polish for this most of the time, cause the slighhtest slip up here will result in an imidiate loss of the white sharpness. Protective Polish is the more reliable & comfertable way to go 😊
Sorry I see you've got a bunch of questions in the comments, out of curiosity what do you think of the valstrax armour set? Coming from world I fuckin loved the safi set for the whole lose health to gain an insane elemental boost, so seeing a sort of similar concept for raw damage in rise makes me wanna play it
No need to apologize at all man ^_^ All questions are welcome here! Full 5, or 4 Piece Valstrax Set (depending on how you set thins up skill wise) is very strong offensive option for Raw Damage & certain Dragon Element Builds. It kinda depends on where you're playing or with who. As online there will often be cases were you'll want to heal your teammates, or they you. Wich then makes the whole staying at 80% Health or less to keep the Dragonheart skill active a bit tricky at times. It's very good, but also very situational. If dragonheart isnt active, it falls waaay behind other builds. Quite often (when there is no communication online for example), the Valstrax set will become very inconsistant with it's damage output. I use it alot when playing with people i know, soloing, or when i know for sure i can stay in the right health range to keep up dragonhert.
@@YokaiNox ohhh yeah that would make sense. I've seen a lot of people opting out of it in build videos which was confusing but I could definitely see it being inconsistent especially with multilayer

Critical jewel = Criticat Boost. (Critical Element has no effect on Status weapons like Paralysis) If you cant find it, you maybe dont have the materials to unlock it yet. This is what you need to unlock Critical Jewel: - Lazurite Jewel - Apex Blaze Sac - Magnamalo Horn+ - Almudron Plate
The decos are the same as the regular version. It should be 2 Levels of stun res insted of 3 though (so - 1Lv stun res). It's the Demon Petalace III (Bis ich gerafft hab das Flollier das deutsche Wort für Petalace ist hat en Moment gedauert..🤣)

No problem at all ! ^_^ The difference in my version is just the Talisman. Wich gives me Divine Blessing Lv 3 & Evade Extender Lv 2. Everything else is the same.
No worries Alex, you can easily make a very strong variant version of this one! ^_^ Replace the Valstrax Arms for Jyuratodus Arms & the Anjanath Waist for the Chrome Coil. This will give you room for 4x Lv2 Decos. Fill those with 3x Tenderizer Jewels & 1x Sharp Jewel. Fill the leftover Lv1 Slots on the new pieces with the Grinder or Steadfast. That gives you an extra Level of protective polish in exchange for 2 Levels of ATK boost, wich is a good trade off! 👌
Those are the Decoration Names^^ You probabbly have it set to show you the Skill Name insted of the Deco Name at the smithy. You can change it by pressing a button. Just go into the Deco crafting and check the bottom of your screen, it should tell you wich button to press to switch between Skill Name & Deco Name.
okay i got it know but i cant put any jewel on volvidon helmet? i dont have enough spaces on all my armor for all this jewels and i got everything same as u, maybe diffrent talisman, mine is fatal tempest talisman too but i cant put any jewel on it
@@kapid2052 Talismans are completely RNG. So having a different one will of course change things slightly. What does your Talisman look like exactly ? Then i can tell you wich changes to make.
If you mean the Sharpness Type from Rampage skill: Because Sharpness Type 2 does not get White Sharpness with 1x Level of Handicraft. Type 2 is the worst out of all because you loose the damage modifier from sharpness. If you mean the Level of Handicraft: Simply because we only need 1 Lv for this build, since it runs protective polish to stay at white. Also because Handicraft is a Lv 3 Slot Decoration, and we only have 1 of those on the Armor. So 2 wouldnt even work.
Totaly doable 👍🏽But it will depend on how reliable & consistant you can keep the uptime of Hellion Mode. For most cases Protective polish will be more easy to maintain here.
Right now it's very equaly balanced between Raw & Elemental. The easiest way to decide will be based on the Talismans at your disposal. Or just choosing the weapon based on The Monsters Elemental Resistance Weakspots (You can check those in the Hunter Notes). If the Monster doesnt take very much Elemental Damage, go Raw.
My problem with these builds is just the lack of defese. I'm getting tired to being one shot on the event quests hahahahaha Maybe I'll try using some divine blessing
😄If that seems to be the issue, switch to a more defensive Petalace, get Siribirds, and mix in stuff like Divine Blessing, Potential Lv 1, etc.. And for the hard hitting event monsters it's also good to save Wirebugs for the counter dodge move insted of using them for damage.
Idk if you're still replying, but I'm hr 50 and I don't have valstrax and I don't have online so I have trouble doing apex rathalos. Can I swap in things for valstrax items and crit boost? I was thinking like kaiser crown and something for the gauntlets maybe rath?
Always do when i can, feel free to ask questions at any time. It'll depend on the Build you're trying to make, but in general, yeah. If you ever cant go for Critboost because of Deco or Armor restrictions, just go for extra ATK boost or Crity Eye for example. Easier options armor wise are Rathalos, Nargacuga,Teo. Let me know if you're trying to make something specific and i'll give you some replacement options 👍
@@YokaiNox idk what skills valstrax gives so I just went with a mix of the last setup to put kaiser and rath vambraces, I can get everything else needed for narga build
@@cardnal44 with the options you listed your best overall performance build will be: - Barroth - Azure Age (from USJ dlc quest) - Rathalos - Skalda - Ingot That will give you: - ATK Boost Lv 7 - Wex Lv 3 - Crit Eye Lv 3 - Constitution Lv 2 - Speed Sharpening Lv 2 + some extra side stuff. Without using a Talisman. Just basic Decos.
A very solid question. It does in a way, yes. And you can ofc still use it if you like.👍 It's just that in Rise we have tons of things to help with Stamina management that we can use to our advantage outside of Marathon Runner. And with how much they lowered the Stamina drainage when in Demon Mode, having Marathon Runner is neither realy necessary, nore a very cost effective skill right now. This might change with Sunbreak tho! 😊
@@a.z3078 Mainly depends on your playstyle & resources. For example 2x Palicos with the "Go Fight Win" abillity (lessens stamina consumption) can already be all you need. Or you can use a Petalace that gives you a larger Stamina Bar. If you have the resources, Dash Juice is more than enough on it's own. And there's endemic life that can also slow down your Stamina consumption for quite a while. Another important thing is to not always be in Demon Mode/learning when to switch out of it. You dont have to be in it constantly for optimal damage output aslong as you can keep the Demon Gauge from running out.
Hi, you get 1Lv Crit Boost from the Teostra Helmet (Kaiser Crown) & 2 more from the Decorations in the List. You can put the Deco in the Weapon, Arms, Waist, or Talisman.
@@YokaiNox The Dark Knight build you get 3 WEX from Val helm and gloves. You have in the deco area that you need a tenderizer deco which you don’t need you can slot in attack boost. I have that same talisman and I made this setup just as you listed it but I noticed with no decos in I already had WEX 3
@@Fayde2BLAQ Oh the Dark Knight, yeah 😄 That was listing mistake cause i usually always have 1x Tenderizer Deco in the Valstrax Arms for Lv 3. When i switched parts it was still in there on this one 😄It's in the Video description that you dont need the Tenderizer Deco on that Build^^
Builds are easy with a two level two slot talisman. / Farms talismans for two straight weeks and doesn't get a single one that matches the criteria....

Does razor sharp act as a good replacement for protective polish? I have a god talisman with it
Sadly the answer to that is no, not in most cases.
The only time razor sharp will be able to replace or keep up with protective polish is if you already have a large amount of the sharpness you want to keep (Valstrax weapons for example).
That said, it can still be a very good option if for example the amount of white & Blue sharpness together is alot and using your razor sharp talisman allows you to add a bunch of DMG skills (or other stuff you like)
This super dope. Damage and utility while being fun and comfy, I know what i'm working towards now. Although I don't see any bowgun builds. Is there a reason?

The only reason Bowguns & Lance are missing is due to me not having the time to make them back then😄as these multi Build videos take quite a long time to make.
And with quite a few Bowgun Builds floating around YT already the request for them wasnt as high. So i prioritized other weapon types first since we were getting closer & closer to Sunbreak.

That's gonna be kinda hard to say without knowing wich weapons you are most comfertable with, and what the rest of the skills are on that particular build (will be easier to say wich weapon type fits well with more info on the build).
But in general evade extender & evade window together have great usage value on Switch Axe, Dual Blades, and Hunting Horns inparticular.
Evade Window works great on any weapon if your playstyle is dodge/evade heavy. Evade Extender can be a bit more situational. Depending on the weapon it can make repositioning for continuos hits a bit tricky.
Raging Claws are a ton of fun and even in multiplayer hunts you can get the paralyze to proc fairly often, depending on the monster. Been running a similar build spamming HR Great Izuchi trying to get a large gold crown and both solo and in multiplayer this will usually paralyze it 3-4 times in about as many minutes as the hunt generally takes.
I want to see a full team of DB users, each with a different status build take on a hunt. Did the above hunt with a DB user with a sleep build last night and between sleep and para we absolutely annihilated the monster...thing never got out of its starting spawn area.
Oh, should point out that a blast build is very useful for rampages that have the "inflict status ailment" objective as each blast that goes off counts as a status ailment...which a DB blast build can complete very quickly.
Funny enough the rotating of Para & Sleep used to be a HUGE thing back in the older MH titles. Specifically for endgame Charm/Talisman Hunts and other stuff, aswell as crown hunting. You hit the nail on the head 😄
Yup, Blast on DB, SnS or Bow is highly effective for rampage objective clears 👌

Did you use only 2 levels of para atk on that Pawnisher build because you perhaps use the dango specialist food boost? If not, what food combos do you go for?
Para is at Lv 2 because Lv 3 would be overkill (not very efficient). We also cant craft Jewels for Paralysis Attack yet in Rise, and the other parts with paralysis attack also arent very efficient for DB.
Hope we can craft the Jewels for it inSunbreak 👌

The Paralyzer Jewel is a 2 piece. I play on the PC version. There were some updates on the game lately, maybe it is something new

Sadly as of right now it doesnt change anything for that particular Build tho.
Going for Lv 3 will come in handy once we get Sunbreak and the monsters resitances to Status go up due to Master Rank parameters. For High Rank it yields very little benefit right now on DB, over the course of a hunt.

What do you think about the Azure Age Haori insted of the Vaik Mail in the "The Dark (K)night" build?
It gives Constitution 2 and WEX
It's a very good Chest Piece that i would choose for alot of Builds if i dont need/want an extra Lv 1 Slot from the Vaik Mail.
In this case i actually use both. When hunting more casually i run the Azure Age Haori, when i do any of the super Monster events, i'll go for Vaik. Having Lv 1 Stun resistance seems miniscule, but when fighting something that can easily kill us with 1-2 hits, having the Stun Duration reduced by 60% for using a single Level of stun res has super high value.
If you personally find more value in having ur dodges cost 20% less stamina (hardly noticable in fight), then defenitely go for Azure Age.
Cool video! I'm gonna use the Rampage DBs and the Dangos a bit more! :) One of my favorite DB builds has Bubbly Dance and Evade Extender both maxed out with Constitution at lvl 4 or 5 so that I can dash around insanely fast and far in normal 'Demon Mode'. It is THAT much fun. (I use a Bubbly Dance +3 (2)(2) talisman)

@@YokaiNox I can recommend the chest armor piece of the Azure set because it provides you with 4 level two skill points and a fairly high defense stat just in case that Apex gets in a stray hit :^)

Personally, I recommend the Ripper build,but with Dober waist armor instead of the Anjanath

Dober waist is not a bad choice, but it's literally just a worse Version of the Anjanath waist 😅. Both have ATK Boost Lv 2 & a Lv2 Slot.
But the Anjanath waist has 2 additional Lv1 Slots & more Defense.

I do have a decent protective polish Talisman, but using Jewels was more effective Slot wise here :)

It's a very early Decoration. You just unlock it by progressing through the game and hunting new monsters.
These are the materials you need for it:
- Toxin Sac x 1
- Pukei-Pukei Scale+ x 2
- Aquaglow Jewel x 2

You can change the Design of Rampage Weapons to look like any other Weapon of that Type. You need to go to the Smithy -> Ramp-Up Weapons -> Layered Rampage Weapons -> Select what you want 👍🏽

Check the bottom of the screen when you're at the blacksmith. You can press a button to switch the Decoration Display from Deco Name, to Deco Skill.

For your Pawnisher build, wouldn't Master's Touch be better than Protective Polish since you'll never be not critting?
In theory that's what it should be ^^ But depending on how efficient the user is Protective polish will be the better choice, since most players wont be able to keep Arc Demon mode up 100% of the time. Even with over 700 DB hunts i still resort to protective polish for this most of the time, cause the slighhtest slip up here will result in an imidiate loss of the white sharpness. Protective Polish is the more reliable & comfertable way to go 😊
Sorry I see you've got a bunch of questions in the comments, out of curiosity what do you think of the valstrax armour set? Coming from world I fuckin loved the safi set for the whole lose health to gain an insane elemental boost, so seeing a sort of similar concept for raw damage in rise makes me wanna play it

Full 5, or 4 Piece Valstrax Set (depending on how you set thins up skill wise) is very strong offensive option for Raw Damage & certain Dragon Element Builds. It kinda depends on where you're playing or with who. As online there will often be cases were you'll want to heal your teammates, or they you. Wich then makes the whole staying at 80% Health or less to keep the Dragonheart skill active a bit tricky at times. It's very good, but also very situational. If dragonheart isnt active, it falls waaay behind other builds. Quite often (when there is no communication online for example), the Valstrax set will become very inconsistant with it's damage output. I use it alot when playing with people i know, soloing, or when i know for sure i can stay in the right health range to keep up dragonhert.
@@YokaiNox ohhh yeah that would make sense. I've seen a lot of people opting out of it in build videos which was confusing but I could definitely see it being inconsistent especially with multilayer

That's generally the most offensive setup for it, and what i run pretty much all the time.

Critical jewel = Criticat Boost. (Critical Element has no effect on Status weapons like Paralysis)
If you cant find it, you maybe dont have the materials to unlock it yet.
This is what you need to unlock Critical Jewel:
- Lazurite Jewel
- Apex Blaze Sac
- Magnamalo Horn+
- Almudron Plate

What are the decorations in your version of the pawnisher? And which flollier?
The decos are the same as the regular version. It should be 2 Levels of stun res insted of 3 though (so - 1Lv stun res).
It's the Demon Petalace III (Bis ich gerafft hab das Flollier das deutsche Wort für Petalace ist hat en Moment gedauert..🤣)

No problem at all ! ^_^ The difference in my version is just the Talisman. Wich gives me Divine Blessing Lv 3 & Evade Extender Lv 2. Everything else is the same.
How did you change what the rampage dual blades looked like??
You can customize the look of all Rampage Weapons at the Blacksmith.

No worries Alex, you can easily make a very strong variant version of this one! ^_^
Replace the Valstrax Arms for Jyuratodus Arms & the Anjanath Waist for the Chrome Coil.
This will give you room for 4x Lv2 Decos. Fill those with 3x Tenderizer Jewels & 1x Sharp Jewel. Fill the leftover Lv1 Slots on the new pieces with the Grinder or Steadfast.
That gives you an extra Level of protective polish in exchange for 2 Levels of ATK boost, wich is a good trade off! 👌

Those are the Decoration Names^^ You probabbly have it set to show you the Skill Name insted of the Deco Name at the smithy. You can change it by pressing a button. Just go into the Deco crafting and check the bottom of your screen, it should tell you wich button to press to switch between Skill Name & Deco Name.
okay i got it know but i cant put any jewel on volvidon helmet? i dont have enough spaces on all my armor for all this jewels and i got everything same as u, maybe diffrent talisman, mine is fatal tempest talisman too but i cant put any jewel on it
@@kapid2052 Talismans are completely RNG. So having a different one will of course change things slightly. What does your Talisman look like exactly ? Then i can tell you wich changes to make.
For the twin Rebel blades , why use sharpness lvl 1 instead of lvl 2 ? It doesn't cost any attack also...
If you mean the Sharpness Type from Rampage skill: Because Sharpness Type 2 does not get White Sharpness with 1x Level of Handicraft. Type 2 is the worst out of all because you loose the damage modifier from sharpness.
If you mean the Level of Handicraft: Simply because we only need 1 Lv for this build, since it runs protective polish to stay at white.
Also because Handicraft is a Lv 3 Slot Decoration, and we only have 1 of those on the Armor. So 2 wouldnt even work.

With the raging claws, why not use Mastery?
Totaly doable 👍🏽But it will depend on how reliable & consistant you can keep the uptime of Hellion Mode. For most cases Protective polish will be more easy to maintain here.
On duel blades do u recommend raw or elemental? I’m kinda confused lol
Right now it's very equaly balanced between Raw & Elemental. The easiest way to decide will be based on the Talismans at your disposal. Or just choosing the weapon based on The Monsters Elemental Resistance Weakspots (You can check those in the Hunter Notes). If the Monster doesnt take very much Elemental Damage, go Raw.
My problem with these builds is just the lack of defese. I'm getting tired to being one shot on the event quests hahahahaha

😄If that seems to be the issue, switch to a more defensive Petalace, get Siribirds, and mix in stuff like Divine Blessing, Potential Lv 1, etc..
And for the hard hitting event monsters it's also good to save Wirebugs for the counter dodge move insted of using them for damage.

Try to learn the patterns from the monsters, positioning is a huge part of a good DB player
Idk if you're still replying, but I'm hr 50 and I don't have valstrax and I don't have online so I have trouble doing apex rathalos. Can I swap in things for valstrax items and crit boost? I was thinking like kaiser crown and something for the gauntlets maybe rath?

It'll depend on the Build you're trying to make, but in general, yeah.
If you ever cant go for Critboost because of Deco or Armor restrictions, just go for extra ATK boost or Crity Eye for example.
Easier options armor wise are Rathalos, Nargacuga,Teo.

- Barroth
- Azure Age (from USJ dlc quest)
- Rathalos
- Skalda
- Ingot
That will give you:
- ATK Boost Lv 7
- Wex Lv 3
- Crit Eye Lv 3
- Constitution Lv 2
- Speed Sharpening Lv 2
+ some extra side stuff.
Without using a Talisman.
Just basic Decos.
Why does nobody use marathon runner? Doesn’t it make demon mode last longer??
A very solid question. It does in a way, yes. And you can ofc still use it if you like.👍
It's just that in Rise we have tons of things to help with Stamina management that we can use to our advantage outside of Marathon Runner.
And with how much they lowered the Stamina drainage when in Demon Mode, having Marathon Runner is neither realy necessary, nore a very cost effective skill right now. This might change with Sunbreak tho! 😊

@@a.z3078 Mainly depends on your playstyle & resources.
For example 2x Palicos with the "Go Fight Win" abillity (lessens stamina consumption) can already be all you need. Or you can use a Petalace that gives you a larger Stamina Bar.
If you have the resources, Dash Juice is more than enough on it's own. And there's endemic life that can also slow down your Stamina consumption for quite a while.
Another important thing is to not always be in Demon Mode/learning when to switch out of it. You dont have to be in it constantly for optimal damage output aslong as you can keep the Demon Gauge from running out.

Hi, you get 1Lv Crit Boost from the Teostra Helmet (Kaiser Crown) & 2 more from the Decorations in the List.
You can put the Deco in the Weapon, Arms, Waist, or Talisman.

@@fabf8763 You might be missing some of the Apex Monster materials for it. After you fight all of them you should be able to see the Deco :)

With that talisman you can get 7 attk no need to use WEX deco.

@@YokaiNox The Dark Knight build you get 3 WEX from Val helm and gloves. You have in the deco area that you need a tenderizer deco which you don’t need you can slot in attack boost. I have that same talisman and I made this setup just as you listed it but I noticed with no decos in I already had WEX 3
@@Fayde2BLAQ Oh the Dark Knight, yeah 😄 That was listing mistake cause i usually always have 1x Tenderizer Deco in the Valstrax Arms for Lv 3. When i switched parts it was still in there on this one 😄It's in the Video description that you dont need the Tenderizer Deco on that Build^^

You can only get it from Magnamalo Armor Parts or on a Talisman.
Builds are easy with a two level two slot talisman. / Farms talismans for two straight weeks and doesn't get a single one that matches the criteria....
😵That is either the worst Talisman luck i have ever heard of in MHRise, or there was a not very efficient farming strategy in place.
Elemental dual B is way more far stronger than dual B raw
Well yes, of course 😄 It's also mentioned in the Video. This is simply for any players who prefer just using Raw. (I personally pretty much never do in Sunbreak xD)
