I drove a taxi in Asheville to pay for college, but there was a girl there in the early 60's. She was from higher up in the Smokies. Beautiful and wildly intelligent. We lasted until the cancer came in 2021. Those mountains are like seeing her again.

The colors are so amazing at 35:00. I drove through Kancagamus, NH and it was very pretty as well! I'll be visiting this area the first week of November 2024 and I can't wait to get to see this live. Thanks for the sneak preview ☺.

Born and raised in an area that can get me to the blue ridge parkway in under an hour. Been a lot of places and seen a lot of beauty, but it’s hard to compare to the fall colors along the blue ridge. Nature’s last burst of color before life renews in the spring. 😍😍😍

looks like you had a wonderful time. I fell in love with the mountain there. I was just there, this is absolutely my favorite drive. It is so peaceful and beautiful and a great training ground for cornering control techniques. Highly recommend this drive.

Beautiful, but there are many other roads like Rt 221 beneath the Parkway at Grandfather Mtn, and Rt 184 and Route 105 in Banner Elk nearby

Thank you so much for the ride, gorgeous scenery. America has beautiful places, don't need to go to other places to see beauty.❤❤🇺🇲🇺🇲👍👍

The scenic drive was nice but for some reason, the fall colors reminds me of sadness and dying. Yellow falling leaves is somewhat depressing.

In your opinion where is the best fall foliage, I would like to plan for next fall trip. I saw your Kancamagus video and love it so much too. Thank you. Also, base on your experience is mid October a good time to see peak color? Again appreciate your videos so much, they help us who could not travel much, be able to see those beauties.

Thanks so much. I think overall a combination of Vermont and New Hampshire would be my choice. Kancamagus in NH and Stowe, Peacham and numerous small towns in Vermont. Approx. 3 to 4 hours driving apart.

Why are like half the leaves missing on the trees? It doesn’t look like peak color there’s too many missing leaves for it to be peak.

There was one place you drove through that did look like it could be peak.

Some places were peak. Let me know how often you see an entire area at peak at the same time.

Kind of boring after a while it doesn't compare at all to the Rocky mountains
