Tip 3; no one really knows how many people are listening to your show except arbitron Neilson raiting setvice so pitch zip code radius of potential listeners based on the chamber of commerce business population numbers. for rxsmple St Louis Mo has 23,000 businesses with 80%
you all probably dont care at all but does someone know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I appreciate any help you can give me!
Thanks for your suggestion. I completely agree having a big 😁smile 😁on your face does come across to the listener. Definitely think when entering that studio the presenter needs to leave their woes behind them and bring positivity to the airwaves!
Really excellent tips, James - thank you so much for making this video! How to be a Radio Presenter in 13 minutes - every radio presenter, new and experienced, should watch this. I've been saying this stuff to our volunteer presenters for years, but there is nothing like a video to bring it to life!
Tip sometimes a guest prepared 10 questions for a one hour shown but it isnt enough content and you'll wind up with dead air time. get some articles about their area of expertisr and share content and ask for their opinion. it will help promise.
WOOOOOOOOOOOW man ur great,, i really ove the tips i am from TANZANIA and by watching ur videos i became one of the best presenters and u know what i also had i trophy of best presenter at our office man u helped me a lot al in all thanks for everything

I think voice must be dynamic. Radio presenting is an art just like singing. I berg to differ on the issue of voice. When presenting news for example should sound different in terms of voice from presenting an advert. Dynamism is key for radio presenters.
Hi James, that was really helpful thank you. I am a presenter on a community radio station and love it however I have to work on my ‘uhh’ & ‘umm’ although I have improved a lot over 3 years! I always listen back to my live shows and I have worked out that I do that when I am trying to read several screens, read my script or I have a problem in front of me, a good colleague said ‘just pause’ rather than ‘um’ (briefly). Any ideas?
Personally I think people get too caught up in the whole 'umm' 'ahh' thing. It's part of our natural language after all! When we're having conversations with anyone, we will umm and arr as part of our day to day speech - so why any different on the radio. I agree if it's excessive it can become annoying, but don't beat yourself up too much for the occasional stumble over your words - even presenters who are working at the highest level on national TV & Radio will occasionally mess up a word, or umm and ahh! Hope that helps!
Very good video mi friead, and technics to bring me here to watch your video, I will do the same in spanish. Thanks again... Ministerio Postreros Tiempos Inc.

Can i tag making phone videos presentation as being a "talk show"???

Why are all of these type of videos British? I can’t seem to find one American radio broadcast video.
Great video. Except for the zoom in/out/in/out... It's freaking me out.
😵💫
I hate scripts
The multiple jump cuts are very difficult to watch.
Welcome to RUclips. You don’t have to watch it - just listen in the background 😉
@@AudioInsider_YT That's just what I did! As a video editor myself I thought it was overkill though...just my 2 cents.
@13th Floor Video Thank you for the feedback 🙌
