#1 Tip: Be yourself. I email my guests the topics that we will be discussing and they can add some if they like. I approach every interview with excitement, humor and integrity.
Thank you James, this was helpful! I recently started a non-profit to help people pursue their dream job as a pilot and I am going to start interviewing current commercial pilots to provide their insights, experiences and recommendations. This is totally out of my wheel house and your videos are providing great support! Thanks!
I'm starting a podcast dedicated to past traumas and talking openly about them to raise awareness. And hopefully help others through similar situations and if not just to let them know they are not alone.

Have a structure, my podcast is called Absolute Bedlam, but damn, you NEED a structure. Take notes.
Learning how to be a good interviewer is one of the first skills any podcaster should learn.

You should try moving the camera closer. I feel like it makes the audience feel closer to the person in the video.
Thanks for the feedback Jordyn! I've started doing this in more recent videos: ruclips.net/video/1KiDH0oeawo/видео.html
