My friend. Loving the reactions to learning about Rugby. Watch the extended highlights to the Ireland V France game today in the 6 Nations (worlds oldest Rugby competition). Ireland (my guys) are world #1 and France are #2. The best of the best provided an epic confrontation. Some of the finest match play I have ever seen today from both sides.
You gotta watch the highlights of the 1995 world cup S.A. vs New Zealand. Nelson Mandela was there too. It was such an epic moment in history and shows the sheer significance of sports. There's even a movie and documentary about that world cup finale.
Dude you first asked about is Shaun Johnson who played in the Australian NRL for the Auckland Warriors. If you wanna see true running/passing and kicking skills than I suggest you do a reaction video to one of many highlights compilations on RUclips. You won't be disappointed. Keep in mind there's a big difference between rugby, which is short for rugby union and rugby league. Two totally different sports but if you're looking for the best of rugby league than you don't have to look any further than the Australian NRL which is and always been the very best by head and shoulders above any other national rugby league competition. This was a video compiled of rugby league, rugby union and rugby 7's. All different formats of the sport. Especially Rugby union and rugby league, 2 completely different football code's/sport's.
Yes both codes are getting a bit of attention from America. I feel a bit for the ones trying to learn and getting sold a dummy by these people who did the original video the poor bloke reacting to.
I lost all respect after the first sentence. Shaun Johnson has NEVER played for the Auckland Warriors. You must be living in the 90's. The club was renamed The NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS in 2001, and Shaun didn't start playing for them until 2009. I came to make the same point about different codes which I totally agree with, but clearly you don't watch much NRL to get that so very wrong.
Hiya, have a look at Greg Inglis NRL Farewell Tribute, Greg was a Monster as he just would charge over and push the opposition out if his way. He would be called GI or the Goanna, which is an Australian very large lizard. Greg is an Indigenous Aboriginal who is a legend and of the best.
@@relevantbrother8964 … Greg is (or was) a beast & I would’ve loved to see him marked up against Jonah as the physical impact alone would’ve rattled the stands 👊😎. R.I.P Jonah ✊️😔
Tackling is not the same as American. As long as the ball is moving the play is on. Tackling, you are trying to pull the guy down but in a way that the ball is knocked loose. Live ball. Shorter guys are hard to catch, dodge and weave, so they then to be runners.
Bj man. I worked in the hospital down the street from a college. And on rugby game night we got some brutal injuries man. I did X-ray and man oh man I saw some crazy breaks. You gotta be bad ass to play this game.
I'm "Team-mum" of an under 14 rugbyteam. One day a very small and skinny boy cried... "I'm to small, I'm to weak. I'm to slow. I can't play rugby." I said " train hard and you will get stronger and faster, you will see." He complained "But maybe I will never be as tall as the others." Then I showed him videos of Cheslin Kolbe and said "Then learn to use it." Now... 3 maybe 4 years later... This boy is still playing rugby - still kind of skinny, still smaller... But he is fast as hell and fearless. I'm so proud of him.
Nice way to build up his confidence. You could also show him videos of Faf De Klerk (Boks), George Gregan and Will Genia (Wallabies). All were small players that used their size as an advantage.
"you got to move your feet if you want to tackle..." I would agree, but then, if you want your tackle to stand, you also need to plant your feet or you get run over...
The point that many Americans overlook is that blocking or "interference" is illegal in rugby, so those jukes aren't to get team mates in the way of tacklers, they are purely evasive moves.
With Rugby, you don't see aby players crying that theyngot hurt , pulled a ham string or their ankle hurts. Unlike NFL where all.of them scream they gotta take a month off
I bet you didn't see the US team over there🤣🤣🤣.. The tall guy in blue is American he plays 7s for the American team. I think his name is Niles or something.
Try looking for rugby 7's.only 7 players not 15!but game is about 30 minutes not 80.don't no if it's still played?this is called rugby union.there is also rugby league with 13 players & a competition different set of rules for you to get your head around😢😓
I find the rugby league has a lot better steps than the rugby union, and if you want true team play, look at the Queensland maroons 8 years straight dominance of the state of origin series
You need to find a compilation of the great Jonah Lomu. One of the greatest rugby players of all time!!!
He was a freight train with nitrous switch
The dude with the dreds is Rosco specman Spec magic

Was he more about impactful than Jonah Lomu?

What about another even bigger former NRL giant in Mal Meninga, both at State of Origin & club level???
@4:28 (and some shots earlier) , No 11 - Perry Baker who plays 7 a side rugby for USA, is supposedly the fastest rugby player in the world.
brings a whole new perspective of "cut and run".
Search Duhan Van Der Merwe and his performance against England :)

Glad you reacting to rugby now. Loving this.

pretty sure there are better sidestepping videos around than the majority of those
At the Gym, it's leg day 3 times a day for these guys. Massive tanks, huge freakn legs. Strength at its finest.

I would not want any of these guys being the monster or bad guy that chases me in a movie 😂😂😂 he's the fastest kid alive!! 😂😂😂😂
The first thing i was told when i started playing rugby was The forwards are the first line of attack and the first line of defense
the guy with dreads that you said you remember is rosko specman from south africa
"you got to move your feet if you want to tackle..."

"Stuff in his hair" = Rosco Specman
A front row forward sidestepping! Lol
btw, the guys playing in blue are the American team
Cheslin Colby is also 🇿🇦
check out cheslin colbe the step king
It's rosco specman from SOUTH AFRICA
🇿🇦
I missed this one! Rugby is next level…that’s why it’s hard for me to watch American football now…it’s so slow!
Well sure they are quick, all that pads/helmets are kind of clumsy while running 😊
With Rugby, you don't see aby players crying that theyngot hurt , pulled a ham string or their ankle hurts. Unlike NFL where all.of them scream they gotta take a month off
If this sport ever hits America commercially game over for the rest
It's nub cleats on grass. less knee and ankle issues. grass gives way.
Rosco Specman is his name.
I bet you didn't see the US team over there🤣🤣🤣.. The tall guy in blue is American he plays 7s for the American team. I think his name is Niles or something.
Please react to the most feared rugby term in the world
Please
1:36: "Do or do not. There is no try". ( jk. it was a try)
Some of those were actually Rugby league as well not just Rugby
nice skills
The fake pass is called a "Dummy" a "Try" i a touch down.
Go to AFL What is AFL Australian Football League Not like NFL ,Soccer or Rugby. It is played on an oval field .Each team has 18 players on each side
you need to watch some of the clips that people have compiled of rts or kaylan ponga from the leauge side of rugby cause some of them are nasty
BJ try watching Ozzie rules football or gallic football 👍
try scotland v england
2023
Do a Greg Inglis reaction he is a freak
Shane williams bro trust

Im sorry but rugby is different
I hate this is mixing codes, Union, 15's and 7's and League....
