This week is great league and galar cup. Galar cup is only pokemon in the sword and shield pokedex.

Same, I've had the exact opposite experience this season. I feel the level of play is much tougher even at this elo.

Again day off for me after 1:4 first set, doesn’t matter what I lead, what I swap or run, I get either hard punished immediately or just outspammed… greedent with bulletseed and trailblaze, goodbye diggersby safe
Pangoro is fun but man it's so glassy in great league
No offense but damn how the heck does this guy play at 2000+ rating when I’m back down to 1800+ and don’t make those type of mistakes. Geez. I get paired with much higher rated opponents in the 2000s often for some reason even though I made Ace last season.
