So wonderful to see you back out hiking. Good to take advantage why he's able to be carried - I guess then there will be a phase before he's old/big enough to walk the hike on his own. I'll never get over how beautiful NZ is. Just got back from a week in the Queenstown area - I'm lucky hubby goes there for work a few times a year and I usually tag along.

My goodness!! Hi Mari and family!! Awesome surprise this morning. A podcast? Yes! That's a long haul for you, little passenger and all. Beautiful. My goodness, little one has got so big now!
Have you been out to Diamond Harbour, Orton Bradley Park Mari. First time for me recently. A farm girl from way back, it was just so relaxing. A farm trust 650 hectares. No hiking for me, but sedate walks! There were plenty hiking in that area though, mountain biking. So great to see you all. Think of you often 🙋🏼‍♀️ 🚐 ⭐⭐⭐

@@mari.johnson thank you for your reply Mari. Like us all, some more than others, there have been challenges. I lost one of my son's, near Auckland, since last seeing you here. I was up there at the time, near him, after other health issues and his recuperating from an accident, surgeries etc. I am presently down south here again, as my youngest was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, shortly after losing my middle son. Challenges and heartache for us Mum's, sadly accompany our days sometimes 💌

Camping with your kid is hard because you have to carry the extra and keep a better eye on them. An RV makes it a lot easier. I went for a camper that slid into the back of my truck. It slept 4 easily, had a kitchen and bathroom. A tree fell on it this past winter so, I don't know if I can fix it yet. If you wanted to use a motor home, around here it is much cheaper to rent an RV than to buy one. In my experience, Moms get cold before their sons do. Good video. Good Luck, Rick
