Its a trike, you don't need to remove the rear wheel from the axel to take the tire off the rim to get to the tube to either patch or replace. You don't even need to remove the wheel to replace the tire. The only time you would is if something is wrong with the hub or bearings. The only wheel that needs to be removed to replace a tube and tire would be the front. Heck you can take one side wall off the front tire and get quick access to the tube without take the wheel off the forks.
Even old well built trike bicycles have some kind of frame flex (even more so with a low bar single frame tube womans bike).
Trike bicycle are inherently unstable on uneven ground due to how bicycles work (you lean a bicycle to the left the front its going to want to turn to the left), its going to want to turn the front wheel into the direction of the wat the trike is leaning when the rear two wheels are on uneven ground.
The braking power is probably due to misadjustment and or the brakes needs to be cleaned (many brake parts come from the factory with an oil film on them to protect against corrosion and needs to be cleaned off with some kind of brake parts cleaner before use), and if you use the brakes before cleaning it usually glazes the brakes so cleaning and scuffing the drum and pad material and rebedding the brakes is more than likely needed.
Its a direct to consumer trike, most of its going to be in parts to be able to fit into the shipping box, being that this is a trike and not a two wheeled bicycle even more of it is going need to be assembled, a direct to consumer bicycle should be completely gone over anyways (every nut and bolt and part). My direct to consumer bicycle i bought came 90% assembled (because it was a normal two wheeled bicycle so more of it can be assembled and still fit into the box) but i still completely took it apart and made sure everything was ok, well lubed and properly torqued, a trike is not going to be 99% assembled unless it comes in a much larger box. This is how the bike shops and retail stores receive the bikes and they assemble them before you even get to see them. If you don't want to assemble something don't get a direct to consumer bicycle.

A similar step-through bicycle would not twist very much because the back end would tip with the front end. The two back wheels of the tricycle keep the back end from from following the front end. And it is lot of leverage.

your comment over analyes it and some least couple thins you pu are not accurate....
the trike in this vid is lower to much lower quality than others. overal nearly everything the guy in this vid showed and said are true..... the saing you get what you pay for definately applies to this lower quailty and look at least some what flimsy trike.... spend bout $300-$400+ more and get much better one.....
or this trike would work for basic and short rides etc at a probably slower speed than similar type trikes that cost $200-$400 more blah blahhhhhh
the guy who did this vid gave this trike a thumbs down.... and i dont even need to see it or ride it to know i give it thumbs down tooo.... but again for its price well for some it will do just fine.

Some of what is in the video is inherent to tricycles.
What causes a bicycle to be stable while in motion is inactivated by a tricycle. The third wheel stops the mild tipping that induces self-steering, the effect that makes bicycles very easy to balance. Other then when almost motionless, it is harder,to stay balanced on a tricycle than a bicycle. What you do on a bicycle (steer into the tipping direction), will get you off course further and further, as righting the imbalance by that method continues to be less than enough. This is what happens on the crowned driveway in the video. A tricycle also cannot be tipped to balance it on a non-level surface because the third wheel orients the tricycle to the surface it is on. Shifting your own weight is the only thing that could re-balance anything.
In a skid, like on ice, the heavy back of a tricycle starts to come forward, turning the tricycle sideways, and the momentum of the rider makes the tricycle tip right over.

Yes, I bought a 26 inch Vevor MTB Trike foldable, when assembled I took it for a test ride and using a Trick is very different of the way it is aligned going straight so when you turning, it is not like a 2 wheel bike, the turns are more boxed in of not wide but tight and awkward. I found with the handle bars I will put more pressure on the handle bars to make turn and you need to be almost at dead stop due to tipping. I bought the Front forks with shocks so I can Imagine or relate to the ones with no suspension forks as being more rough. I converted into an E TRIKE so I need to ride slower than I would on 2 wheeler. However when peddling , it seems to place the center gravity more stable but coasting is a bit of a different way of steering. Just lean out when turning using your knee as center point like a motorcycle racer on turns.

@@user619tlsdca5 Thanks for some real experience from a trike user. RUclipss are generally done by regular bike riders who only tried out a trike temporarily, and never commited to adjusting to trikes different characteristics over time.
I commented from what I heard from real users, because I have been considering getting one, now that my sense of balance is deteriorating. A trike is less of a solution than it might seem.
Also, tricycles automatically seem flimsy because whatever you do on a bike will tilt the whole bike, but instead twists the frame of a trike, due to the 3 wheels.

@@kennethflorek8532 Yes, LOL. I ride the Trike often and want to fyi ,AVOID RIDING THRU SIDEWALKS FOR I CRASHED A BIT, lol. It is the UNEVEN PAVEMENT PATH the Trikes get off balanced and you need to just slow down at these uneven pavements as its best when coming across them ALWAYS GO STRAIGHT onto ramps or them driveway entry or speedbumps. When you slowdown you can counter the off balancing but too fast you tend to move steering a bit as this causes those moments. I caught or stopped the Trike in time knowing this and it HELPS GREATLY to always slowdown when pavement un even. Im used to Trikes physics now and best advice is to learn and adapt of using body weight to adjust the balancing for the rear tires, Im a pro now, lol..

@@JoelLukacher1:45 that's the brake, it's in between the tires pretty much in the center of the axle, there is nothing preventing you from taking the tire off the rim from the outside.
Removing the whole wheel from the axel is unnecessary extra work for nothing. The only time when you would need to remove the wheel is if you need to replace the rim, replace the hub, or maintenance on the bearings.

    • @rodjones2977
      @rodjones2977 3 месяца назад

To me one of the biggest reasons for being hard to pedal would be tire pressure. Make sure they are blown up as hard as allowable. I prefer 34 psi. Next thing is finding better wheel bearings for the rear axel.

I bought a"moon, cool"trike from TEMU. Same problems and more. The pedals only drive the right rear tire, which makes it to the left when peddling and to the right
Seat it arrangement is very difficult to get onto without stepping on a pedal.
The comfort back support at the Foremost rear is too close to get onto the seat properly
The rear brake is kind of beat simulated this break with a rubber strap going around the desk it only stops the right rear wheel
Peddling is very hard even in the lowest gear.

Well so what you have to put it together, duh I took four to five hours, are we in a race to get it put together? For the price, I just got one, I like it yeah it took four to five hours of my neighbor put it together, but let me tell you what they're not telling you, yes it was a good size manual however there was good pictures and it was in color so you can clearly see how to put it together, and it came with a bike lock very nice it also came with a little bike Bell with it nice it has the two baskets it had all the tools you needed for it I mean what else do you want?? For that price go buy you something used and see if you get anything better for that price . Is it perfect? No that's better than riding the two wheel at this point in my life. Go spend you hundreds of dollars more, let someone else put it together. But for the price come on people and for the extras they gave . I bet if it costs more money somebody would find something wrong with a high-dollar one too. Be appreciative that you can find something in a decent price range, that is brand new. What did you think they were actually going to ship you a bicycle all put together and I hate to tell you people don't know how to put anything together anymore so if you bought one put together in the store your chances are it was put together wrong there toom

@@stormgirl4881well said and I agree100% . I have a vevor trike and it was the same thing to put together. And it was 3 times more money. The only complaint I have with it is that it doesn’t coast very easily.. looking into finding better bearings for the rear axle. But bearings I buy will probably be better than any tricycle comes stock with.. happy travels.
