Justin me and my family finally get our chance to start our first homestead on a new plot of land! I’ll be looking back on a lot of your old videos for help!

As always, great video. You chicks on deep bedding have reminded and inspired me to start deep bedding my rabbits instead of cleaning out their pens every few weeks when they start to smell. We already do deep bedding for our chicks. I'm exited and a bit nervous to see how it works with rabbits since they like to dig. Thank you for all you inspiration!

Try hanging a couple of feather dusters from the light boards and see how those chicks take to them. That would help them stay warm too. I saw this on another video a while back. I hope your surgery goes very well. Back issues suck.

You only get one quart of cream out of 5 gallons? We get one quart of cream from a gallon and a half. Are the cows not high cream producers?

Sometimes you have to move the animals sooner than you’d like just because they need the new grass & the place they’re at has gotten over grazed. It’s your farm Justin, trust your instincts .

I move my animals everyday. This is only a temporary holding until we let the grass catch up. I have never had to do this before and Hope to never have to do it again.

The temparature is too low that's why the chicks are clustered in the corners. They might die because of the cold. Hope the room warms up quick enough 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Do y'all intend to cut trees and continue moving up with pasture? Do you want to expand your farm past what it is now? More cows. chickens. more sheep, perhaps other animals? Or. are you where you want to be now and no future expansion is being considered?

    • @theJustinRhodesShow

We want to rely less on hay by pasturing more of our forest.

I hope you stirred up that milk while it was heating. The thermometer was getting the temp off of the hot bottom of that pan
