remember that game this season with dallas? rockets 107, mavs 76? You dont lose a game that badly and call it a fluke. These guys have what it takes to go all the way. Their defense is incredible.
real point guard? rafer alston is an elite point guard.. jeff van gundy has a nice 8 man rotation right now though so don't worry about the bench too much. and yao isn't in this because i couldn't find real anything too great. do you get the feeling of a playoff atmosphere when you see yao drop the ball in a basket or when you see t-mac pull up and drain an awesome buzzer-beating 3 pointer over 3 defenders? you decide.
id like to see the rockets advance, but there is no way they are making it out of the second round. it is just not going to happen. They have a shot next year if they can find a real point guard, and improve their bench.
i love yao, t-mac, and battier, but the rockets are not in the spurs, suns, and mavs class. They have no viable options at power forward, and weak bench.
