Very interesting. From a practical intervention perspective, it would be worthwhile for some of the research community to take a harder look at the Conboy work, which started with parabiosis in Rando lab, but more recently (2020 & 2022) focused on diluting or removing old plasma which also has tissue rejuvenating and proteome effects. Plasma dilution is something we can all do simply by plasma donation, a free and regulated process in the US. Takes out about 25% of plasma each donation, which can be done monthly at most blood banks, and more frequently at plasma-only centers. Gets past the many issues which arise by injecting plasma from another person.
