Least with Red Bull I could watch DH finals in Australia but now need to pay so they have lost me.
I was optimistic at the beginning of this year but now I have to say I want Red Bull back. It´s not getting better but worse
Redbull was pandering mostly to the DH/Hackysacker/broworshipper/Potsmoker viewers (hehe), that kind of demographic is very limited (look how inconsistent the Rampage has been), they need to attract the superrich dentists XC fans, steal some viewership from the road cycling Tours. DH alone is not gonna cut it, it needs to be XC and it needs to stay away from the Redbull brand. It might take a few years but I can see MTB Cycling viewership taking off.
@@ChuyR. yea of course they have to better the viewership and it probably works on the xc side but it´s sad to see that they neglect dh so much. Dh by nature caters to a more limited viewer group but the way they seem to be going will not provide more viewers and will leave the die hard fans unsatisfied and leaving it. I don´t really watch xc a lot but they seem to be doing a good job over there but on the dh side they do not seem to have a single clue of what to do. Especially if you listen to some rider/team interviews.
there needs to be rivalries, beef, competition, etc.. lets be honest it is kind of pathetic when the rider on the hot seat is "stoked" because the rider coming down is riding faster than him and will take away the seat from him, it is cringe imo @@sendyboiii7
