I was going to request this, but didn’t get around to it. As far as stuff you missed Lupe Fiasco dropped a short album called “Samurai” that is dedicated to Amy Winehouse who was quoted as saying she was writing battle raps before she OD’d. So from my perspective the album is a thought experiment about what if she chose the pen and bars instead of substances. I’d love to hear your perspective.
