The mentor's story was the exact story of my life for 10years until i left 2 years ago. Mine was not even providing but he is the savior of the people outside. I attempted suicide twice out of mental breakdown. People kept saying 'As long as he is not hitting you, stay and protect your home' but hollup! No be person wey get strength dey protect something? I was drained emotionally, psychologically, infact! Even physically. Yesterday night i came back from his village to bury his father, evrryone one was shocked that i came after all. As a woman who lost both parents within 2 years with 2 kids and 3 siblings to cater for, i need a mentor like Bimpe. I cried all through this movie because I can relate 100%

From both experience and from what i learnt from this movie, these men are not even as powerful as they potray themselves to be but you'll only realize that the day you stand up for yourself. They subdue you to nothing because you enabled them gradually from the onset when they were showing who they were bit by bit. Dont give them a chance to put you to the ground just to uphold their selfish ego. Give them back to back and watch them behave themselves properly, but sit and shed tears and keep begging him and watch him become more toxic day by day. God bless you Aunty Bola for this wonderful piece, i love the way young women has refused to tolerate what their mothers did and were all dying in silence.

When i see a good movie with amazing script interpretation i can't help but applaud the producer because some movie influence our daily lifestyle.
Longevity in marriage doesn't guarantee happiness, some people had to protract that perfect marriage out there. As a single lady now I understand that you can't tame a cheating man and there's nothing like I've to fight for my marriage when the other partner isn't committed.
To every married woman out there watching this beautiful masterpiece i know isn't easy to stay in an unappreciated marriage but mute yourself in detriment of your dreams is actually not worth it. Don't forget to do what makes you happy.

    In My Shoes🎬🫶♥️🎉
Step into my shoes, walk my worn-out path,
Feel the weight of burdens that time can't help but stash.
Every stone I've stumbled on, every scar I've earned,
Tells a tale of battles fought and lessons I've learned.
The soles are frayed, the laces stretched thin,
Yet they carry dreams that fight to win.
Through storms and sun, through joy and pain,
These shoes have danced in love and cried in rain.
But if you walk my road, just for a while,
You'd see beyond the miles, and maybe smile.
For though my shoes are battered, worn, and bruised,
They carry hope, and that’s the life I choose.

Bolaji THANK YOU for always outdoing yourself and bringing out all these real life situations that a lot of producers shy away from… these stories are so true and so real. A lot of men and women are going through these things daily and don’t have an OUT.
Also, can’t over emphasize the importance of a good female friendship for every woman; married or single as a great friend is so important for every woman’s mental health.
Really enjoyed this movie. Thank you!

Wow wow wow Most of our mothers deserve an award 🥇 they went through a lot in which most of us now can’t tolerate such. I feel like giving Mr Judge a knock on his head when he said to his wife “we are in danger” as in from where to where 😂 and for Bimpe husband I love how she gives him back to back, bread should grow on his head maybe he will have sense 😂 his wife is not his mother that her father does that to. This story needs a concluding part cuz is not enough for me. I love every part. I love you for being an amazing producer ❤️ 💋
