Santai is a good gym, but definitely a tourist gym. Don’t expect local experience here. There are lots of nice local food options around Santai! Explore a little and go towards the market. Better not eat to much from the 7-11 stuff
The 7 11 stores in Asia are the best. The 711 stores are so simple and boring in Australia. If they did have the same stock in Australia, it would cost a fortune.
Greetings from L.A.California. So good to see you again my brother. You know I have watching you since your your first video and this is hands-down my most favorite. I have all-ways loved boxing since I was a kid and the first time I saw Thai-boxing was back in the 70s in Bangkok. Loved it. Was never my-self a boxer. More a lover Ha. Ha. I like Chang-Mai. area very much. My one suggestion for you to visit would be to go to the river Kwai.I never saw any-body posting from there. They have a-lot of nice places to stay there on the river and there is a-lot of history there also. I loved there long tailed boats. So fast. I felt like James Bond. Liked your back-ground in-fo on Thai boxing. Learned something. I wish you would get 20,000 views on this one. You should. Such great content. What a work-out for you. Good you did not get heat stroke over there. So hot my brother. You know that. Safe travels my friend'. Have some coconuts and mangoes for me okay My favorites.I think you also, right.Tom the Cali.cat.
Love your vids and travels! I gotta ask - with all your newly learnt techniques and acquired skills from the Muay Thai boot camp - is there any better way of stopping a guy attacking you than a swift , hard kick in the nuts?😅
Hey man! It depends if you get accomodation etc… You can chrck out their website, just search Santai Muay Thai gym Chiang Mai and all the prices are on their. It’s super affordable compared to Tiger
@@davidkhai Thanks man i just check it. Yes it seems more affordable than Tiger. I am in the same situation as you was. I live in Europe and life here sucks. But i am 33 years old and think it's too late to start muay thai. Although i start kick boxing before two months and i keep going. I will make as a goal to go at this training camp in Thailand just for the experience. It seems really awesome. Congratulations for all that you have achieve until now!

Definitely not sustainable without prior training, the training schedule were for the fighters and you jump in when you want. Crazy how fit tmost of them are
Yeah it's for fighters. The real Thai fighters train mostly daily, all day. If you do this daily your body will get used to it. Some take this up instead of a work schedule and some kids can't afford school in Thailand and they do this for a living to send money back home, even as a child they will do this. so it's a all day training regiment for some and it can be handled once you get used to it
Muay thai actually copied cambodia Bokator thailand were part of cambodia empire but went rogue from a little small crew of rebels to a big copycat of calbodia
You can eat veggies raw aye? More training please and enough of the explaining of the obvious. We all here to watch you TRAIN. DAE IT. FUCKIN 14 DY mUAY tHAI TRAINING CAMP WITH no training footage. WTF. 14 days to not know how to throw a round kick.
I started 2 month ago and I absolutely love. Unfortunately I got a rib fractured because somebody was sparring a bit too hard, but I will never stop.
It’s the best feeling training and hitting the pads! Damn hopefully you recover soon!
The gym should instruct students not to spar hard. Sympathy for your plight.
Bro they let you spar after 2 mounth? I got to wait 4 mounth just to even smell the ring 😂

@@Procione07 This is how sparring should be done, light, but technical.

Domo arigato for sharing your experience and the origins of Muay Thai! Love your video!
I was seriously getting withdrawals from not seeing a new vlog from you for 10 days haha. But now I know why! Keep it up bro 😎

Appreciate you as always Tom! Nothing beats some martial arts training. Cheers for the suggestion
Hey david, today i saw you in the parkmore shopping centre with your mum. You are already back in Australia 😂

Muay Thai the best🥊
Thailand has everything for you.
After your training, it’s time to film your real fight bro instead of somebody else.
Is it true that every Thai man has some Muay Thai skills?
I don’t think every Thai man
How much did u spend in dollars ?
Hellow man. How much does it cost for two weeks? Is it cheap? It seems much better than Tiger. More traditional.

Can i ask the how much does it cost monthly to train?
Unsure about monthly, but prices are on the site Santai Muay Thai Gym in Chiang Mai
what were the people in thailand like?
The locals themselves are amazing, super kind and helpful but can be a bit shy
Cool. What’s written on your chest ?
Accept what is, let go of what was and have faith it what will be

I don't think 2 sessions a day plus a 4k run is sustainable. Your body need time to recover and rest. Good on you for giving a crack
