As I am only 5 foot 1 I climb on everything too. Beds, kitchen counters, one foot either side of the bath to do the high up tiles. I feel your pain.
The duvet popper thing, I don't do for a few reasons. I change all 4 kids beds on the same day, I then do the laundry loads by type. so first load duvet covers, 2 singles and 2 cot bed size. Second sheets and pillow cases (again 2 singles, 2 cot bed 3 pillow cases). If it is protector week then 3rd load is protectors.
I don't popper my bedding as I again wash these separate we have a super king, so 1 load duvet cover, 1 load sheet and pillow cases.
I find this saves my time.

I have a great idea. If you are not tall enough to change Will’s bed easily (I’m 5 3!); get daddyof4 to do it!!!! Lol. X
Yes, both my children's beds have at least 8-10 soft toys on them. My daughter has a mid bed like Will's, a nightmare to make, let alone change 😖

Hi Rhi I had a mothercare bear too, called big ted. He still sits beside my bed and I’m 47! And I agree with having to spend more time tidying than cleaning!

It made me feel motivated to tackle and clean my entire house soon. I love cleaning my whole house. I listen to music and clean my home that way I feel like I’m having me time. I'm 5ft2 and have shorty bunk beds for our girls and my hubby has to change top bed for me as I can't climb up 😂

My son who's also four has 25, yes 25, what he calls his "buds" on his bed. It's such a pain every morning making his bed. I've tried talking him out of having so many but he won't budge. And if you've guessed it, he's asked for more for Christmas. Help me 🤣
