When Linda McMahon can take a Tombstone better than you, then you know you messed up.

The Dudleys finally putting Dixie Carter through a table was an incredible moment
Because the talent involved were being believable. Even Dixie played her part well. Regardless of what you want to say about business or her knowledge of wrestling. She did the character well for that angle.
@@nickonite And let's be fair, it was how many years ago? The authority figure stuff is just played out. WWE is doing it right with Pearce and Aldis, that style works tremendously but the Vince/Stone Cold or Bischoff and the nWo v. WCW and Turner, that was played out 15 years ago. Wasn't a punch
He would have run and crying to daddy if he even got into a real fight instead of selling the injury 😂😂😂
Elderly Mae Young took better bumps than 40-year-old Tony Khan.
Jack Perry is the perfect babyface for the AEW hardcores. It absolutely makes sense that an obnoxious coworker who got an ass kicking he specifically asked for would be a hero to those folks.
Only problem is what makes him a hero to them makes him a joke to everyone else.
Wait a minute:
Perry - talks tough but loses like a little b in anything real
Sammy - says stupid s* online and dangerously untrained
Darby - takes unnecessary risks that will end with him in a wheelchair
MJF - wasted talent counting down the days until he can leave
They truly are the 4 pillars of AEW.
But he is a heel, Darby is the perfect babyface for AEW fans the dude take unnecessary risks even though he can wrestle and doesn't need to, is an average promo, and looks like an average joe. Hell he even dresses like an average joe

Very Sheiky
@@TheBorwig It's definitely the stache
“Why doesn’t he just fire them?”
There’s the problem. Austin/McMahon worked because, even though you knew McMahon hated Austin in Kayfabe, outright firing him would hurt business. Firing the Bucks and Perry would have zero impact on business, so why wouldn’t Tony fire them? They’re ratings poison. In Kayfabe he has no reason not to start Dynamite on Wednesday by announcing all of them are gone.
especially after he fired CM Punk for yelling at him so loud that he feared for his life lol

When I was 10 I ran into Ole Anderson after a house show in GA. He was cussing out the store clerk and I was so scared I froze at the door and ran back to the car without getting a snack for the ride home. At home I would tell

"If Tony Khan asks for a Hug, You gotta say NO!"
One thing I learned about this segment, is that Tony Khan has no aura. Tony has no charisma, he is not a great physical presence. Hell, even Dixie Carter was good looking and carried herself as the owner. Tony is awkward, small, and comes of as the nerdy son of the owner that's only there to get bullied.
Yes, you could believe Dixie making tough business calls, and hiring & firing people if nothing else.

Tony Khan getting bullied by four of the most least intimidating men in the promotion. One of them even tore their pants and desperately tried to hide it from camera haha.
Tony Khan injecting a lethal dose of poison into his own company 😂
Why did I instantly read that in crazy Vince McMahon voice?
The AEW zombies are really going all in on this. It's been so eye-opening to see those RUclipsrs and podcasters who can't honestly criticize this, unlike Cornette and Bischoff, getting totally exposed. Conrad was so pissed off about Bischoff's opinion that he tried to accuse Eric of giving Arquette the WCW belt. Yeah, the guy who acts like he's some wrestling expert totally forgot that TONY RUSSO came up with that angle. EXPOSED.
I love that there are pictures at the end of the segment while they are checking on Tony, of Kris Statlander laughing and smiling. She went full Paul London.
Conman is like Tiny Khan't: passive aggressive until it becomes too personal for them despite it not being about them. He KNOWS Bischoff didn't hand arquette the belt but because Eric doesn't like conmans friends favourite toys he went on the attack. It's just really sad. Still love to see Eric take a huge dump on conman though.

@@kamilj1521 Should take selling lessons from Janel Grant instead.
lol this video has more views than the average AEW ppv
So nobody else heard Tony scream “OH MY GOD!” waaaay before he got hit? No? Go back and watch it 😂
Whoa wait really
Bischoff was an on air character almost a year before Mr McMahon was born. He did it end of 96, Vince was after Montreal in the end of 97. Get it right Corny.
Vince prototyped Mr McMahon in Memphis as early as 1993. Bret and Owen Hart, and Randy Savage led Vince’s heel stable to invade Memphis. It’s surreal to see the Mr McMahon character in 1993 when that was the height of dorky commentator “WHATAMANOEUVER” Vince
@@nickhughes8179 Yeah, but in WWF he was still an announcer to most. It wasn't until Bret came back and called him out, that most learned he actually the owner of the company.
And Jim said " Vince was on TV, acting as the evil owner" and so Bischoff did the same. On main TV, Eric was an evil authority figure for almost a year before Vince.
Not to mention, Vince didn't want to be the bad guy and thought he would come of as the good guy after Montreal. But after getting booed for 3 weeks, he realized thats not happening, so he turned heel, bringing back his "Mr. McMahon" persona. And so, the biggest heel WWF ever had was born.
@@nickhughes8179 Nobody knew about that back then though . I was a kid during that whole era . Most people thought vince was just an announcer .
Vince copied bischoff evil boss character. bischoff have been firing ppl, were taking powerbombs, chokeslams, deathdrops way before mcmahon was stunned by austin.
Wait for the Herb Abraham's-like promos to come out of him... again!!! Lol
At this stage of the Rise & Fall of All Friends Rassling, I just want to point out that Corny's stellar "selling" has been forever immortalized in Shawn Michaels' original Titantron vid.
AEW IS GOING NO WHERE
@@KyyaJoon It's going under.
