I loved all of the designs at the end. Seeing these I can see the different colorways that have been designed and set up. I am smiling ear to ear. I absolutely love the ideas you have set up for the rest of the year. I have always wanted to learn cabochon techniques. I have seen some that are magnificent. Thank you both for sharing all your expertise with me. I love learning and it makes the items even more special. Thank you both for all your enthusiasm and creative ideas. I can hardly wait. ohh.. I as well enjoy having the Orphans named, one doesn't just change a babies name. 💐
Gosh, Minky; try to show a little enthusiasm. Just kidding. It's hard for US to tone down the excitement whenever we go thru all of these marvelous beads. So many projects come to mind. Of course, I get a little less enthusiastic when Debby surprises me by sneaking MY pearls into the boxes just before we tape the box opening. I really need to get better at hiding my stuff.

It took me a long time to learn to appreciate faceted gemstone beads. Now, I love them, too. We have some amazing faceted beads coming up in our future boxes.

Hi Kari, my goal has been to try to share as much of the inventory I had when we closed our studio so that I can start buying more beads. I still have a ways to go though.
"Eau de L'orpheline" does sound a lot better than "The Water of the Orphans", or "Essence of Orphan", the second choice. Our kitchen looked like a science lab for a week while we played with various oils and other smelly stuff. It was like living and eating in a florist shop.
I came back to the video to make a comment about how much I love my orphan and what do you know… it’s the one in this video 😂. I do love the names you give the stones. In this particular box, I enjoyed thinking about the pattern and finding a theme in it. It has a path that is at times clear and at times cloudy. But if you look on the back, the cloudy path is clearly visible. It closely mirrors the one on the front. I’ve decided to think about this stone as verification that I’m on my true path, or close to it ❤
