I wash out a progresso soup can and take off the label, then you can put several bracelets stretched on it, because there are multiple indented circles, to put the glue dot and let it dry without having to hold it.
Nice job. She doesn't know measurements for direction purposes, but what she lacks in specifics she makes up for in visuals. She makes it so easy to follow along. Fun to watch. Pleasant to listen to her directions.
I like the black/ gray and black/clear beads together. Very dramatic and pretty. I love the way you problem solve and come up with new techniques. While it's really good to pre-stretch the elastic to prevent gapping, you created another method. A scientist and jewelry designer. Double threat!! 😉😉
I was gonna say the same- after you string your work- before you knot it- stretch it- when you make your first knot, put an inkpen, toothpick or something small Between the knot( it will pull beads closer when tied- slide out- and continue tying- when cutting- at the end -leave enough cord to go it next bead on each side- slide cut ends in next bead- behind knot- then cut them- add a pin drop of glue in each hole- let your work cure(dry) for at least 8 hours. Great video!
@Vanessa, u can used thinner wire if 22 gauge doesnt fit. Try 26, 28, even 30. Also there are actual beading needless too. Used a big eye needle. One more thing to add, there is a elastic bracelet gadget too by "Beadalon" u dont remember actual name, but it has a hok in ine end and a loop on the other. Good luck & happy beading
The needle with the loop and hook is a game changer! I got one. I’d never heard of it before. I got the shorter of two versions but will get the longer one next time I return to the store. It’s awesome!❤️❤️
I just had your video pop up so I thought I'd watch it. I've never been very interested in stringing bracelets. I mostly do wire work, but after watching your video you've peaked my interest up a few notches. Whats funny is that just the other day someone gifted me a spool of elastic beading thread. Didn't know what I was going to do with it, I do now... I enjoyed your video very much. Thank you.
I was doing the double string method but I was doing one string at a time but doing the knot on the end and threading both strings seems so much easier and faster for bulk orders 🤦🏾♂️
Thank you so much for your video, I’ enjoy making bracelets and Watch bands but they keep popping 2 things you mentioned may be why. I’m not sure if the knot is just too tight or I’m cutting too much off when I cut the string off. I’m going to try the second method and see if that helps. ❤ thank you so much for telling us what to do 😂
Great job. You should pre-stretch your elastic cord. That will stop you from having a gap between your beads, as you did in the 1st method . It will also keep the shape longer😊❤
When I make my bracelet are use a crimp barrel I do not use the Clam shell that goes over it I run both ends of the cord you’re the trim barrel and then I crimp it together and then I trim the ends off and that holes real good don’t have to tie knots or nothing also where did you get your bead board set up for the bracelets I’ve never seen one like that I would like to get one
Hi beautiful ☺️! I find that it’s more resistance with the second method which is why it didn’t gap as much as the first method. Also , I never thought about pre-stretching the string before, I’ll definitely try that and see what the difference is thank you!!
I have never tried gs hypo cement, as for my opinion I prefer superglue, it’s easy to apply , cheap, and it works lol 😂. However I will look into gs hypo cement this is the first of hearing about it
I like you Mary. You’re cute and you made me laugh several times. When the cam was just on your t-shirt, I was still smiling. I will hit that Sub’ button and check out your other videos too. Thank you for this video. 🙏🏼🩵
You’re welcome 😊! I actually have a video where I show how to make the perfect size bracelet every time, feel free to check it out when you have time 🖤
You see how you had that gap in between on the first bracelet after you stretched it a few times and you had it on that black bracelet arm I was watching another video learning new things & the thing she did was after finishing the bracelet when she did the first tye she pushed the beads down some so they'll be a little closer together then you can make that first tye a little tighter then continue tying the rest of knots & it should avoid that space you had on that first bracelet hope I explained that right or if I find that video I'll post it in the comments
Ohh I see what you mean, basically you make the beads closer to each other before you tie the first knot. I’ll definitely try that and see how that works! Thank you for your comment I appreciate it 🤎
Honestly you just need any kind of string and some beads you find pretty, it’s many methods to tie your bracelets such as the one in the video, but the more you make bracelets and wear them the more you will find out what your doing wrong so practice makes perfect!
Stretch your string prior to using, which limits the amount of stretching later
That’s so crazy I didn’t know you could do that lol!! Thanks for letting me know 😊
yes!!
Yes! Very important. Pre-stretch.
How do you pre-stretch it? Just pull?
@@ItsmeTinaPThat's pretty much it. If you look, you can find videos with people showing you how they do it.
Try pre-stretching your elastic before stringing your beads to prevent bracelet from stretching afterwards.
I definitely will try that thank you!! 😊
I wash out a progresso soup can and take off the label, then you can put several bracelets stretched on it, because there are multiple indented circles, to put the glue dot and let it dry without having to hold it.
That’s extremely smart omg I have to try that
@@IntrovertedBaddieeha, yay, enjoy not holding them while they dry - plus you get to eat soup 😂

Love this method. I seen someone put a drop of nail glue to tie it as well ❤ I can’t wait til my stuff comes in 🫶🏽
How’d it go?
Great tip! I will try that in the future to see how that works thanks
Hello and thank you for this video!❤
I stretch my cord before beading to keep it from stretching afterwards. 😊
Hi beautiful and you are very welcome I appreciate you watching 😊!!!
Stretching the cord is so smart I definitely need to try that next time 😅
I want to thank you for sharing this with me and I love you. I can't wait to start my bracelet.
You are so welcome beautiful! I hope your bracelet turns out amazing 😊

How do you know what elastic string to use, cause mine won't stay tied 😢?
I have 10mm & 8mm lava beads..
Thanks for the advice !
I use a .7mm string size or smaller
Excellent tutorial. I would do the one strand but now that I saw yours it seems so much stronger. Thank you so much for making this tutorial.
You are so welcome!
What’s the mm of the stretch magic you’re using? I use the .5 and do it the second way you do it and so far so good.
Hi beautiful the mm of the stretch magic is 0.7mm !! , and that is great I’m so happy it helped you 😊!
Great idea, doubling up the thread!

Thank you so much for this tutorial!! It helps ALOT!! ❤
I’m so glad it helped!
back in the early 90's I used dental floss, super glue with a clasp to make bracelets like this. you can't break it. 😂
I have to try that method lol , dental floss is hard to break 😂
I'm not gonna , lie when I was a little kid I used dental floss 😜🤣
Wow do u still use the dental Flids

What size elastic do you use. I saw a video where they said # 8 is best for bracelets. But the holes are sometimes too small in the beads for it.
New guy starting here and this was awesome. You are so easy to understand. Thanks
Thank you so much I appreciate you😊
I loved this video! I just subscribed!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it 😊
You're so cute and talented. I actually needed to know this. I've been afraid to make stretch bracelets
You can do it!
Thanks for this great tip. I wonder what size beads you used and what size elastic string was used.
You are welcome! They are 8mm beads and I believe 0.75in string?? Don’t quote me lol you can use any elastic string size you want though
